Kaz is truly an artist and cares deeply about his work and his clients. I'm so lucky to have found Rivkah's Salon, this stylist/colorist/artist, and that I can also call him my friend. My hair has never looked better, received so many compliments, and most importantly - has never been healthier. I've learned so much from Kaz about what products and practices are good for my hair, and that has significantly maximized my good hair days between appointments. I no longer leave a haircut with regret (50/50 chance I'd hate my hair at every other salon), but always feel better than when I walked in. Also kinda weird, but I gotta say, Kaz does a BOMB shampoo. I've lived in other areas and am aware of different price markets. But this was overpriced for Westborough, MA. There were other issues as well but too long to list here. My last bill was shockingly high. I paid it. But I was embarrassed that I paid that much for color touch up, highlights and a haircut. I felt that I was being taken advantage of. I'm not confrontational. But what's the saying you can't be taken advantage of without your own consent. Never went back.

I'm happy to call you after I wake up at 9pm or before I wind down to go to sleep before 8am if you'd like, but out of consideration, I avoided calling you during inconvenient times. I've never cancelled an appointment that I can recall, so I would be interested in the date that I cancelled. If I did, which I find hard to believe, it was definitely with more than reasonable notice. It's comparing apples to oranges, though. I'm sure you could easily fill the spot I cancelled. I can't call and make another appointment with a few hours notice. I'm sorry that those things happened but ultimately, I was unable to get my hair done over many months with your salon. It would have been stellar customer service to try to accomodate me after cancelling on me twice without me having to wait another two months (which would have been a total of four months since my original appointment) or at least offered me some compensation before I wrote a review. The fact that you didn't isn't necessarily a terrible thing, I just have no incentive to make an appointment when I have zero confidence it will actually be kept.

The sylist acted like I was inconveniently there, wash my hair so hard I was wincing, didn't adjust the bowl at all, and washed my hair with ice cold water. When she finally slowed down and realized she was hurting me, instead of apologizing and slowing down, she got pissed and someone else will do it. I said no, it's just a little hard. After that terrible experience, we went to blow dry. Same thing. Hard brushing, and rushing to get me out. I'm walking out 20 hours before the biggest day of my life in tears, and smelling like moth balls from their disgusting shampoo.
