I had several very bad experiences with this dentist and wrote an email to Dr. Peterson about these experiences. When I received no response, I re-sent the email. Still no response. I asked the receptionist if he had received it, and she said he had. All I wanted was a simple "I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Let's see what we can do to make it right.", or something along those lines. Before this experience, I had heard others complain about Dr. Peterson, yet I ignored those concerns. Now I join those who are unhappy, and cannot recommend his practice to anyone.

This is a review I never thought I'd be writing!…read more I had to get a new retainer, and was lost as far as where I should go. My original orthodontist (from at least 20 years ago) had retired, so my dentist referred me to Dr. Babb. From pretty much the first second walking in, no one could have been any nicer. Literally everyone I came into contact with was super personable, and welcoming. The greatest thing for me was not having to shove giant plates of goo in my mouth to get impressions. They use a scanner and 3D printer to get a perfect fit for clear aligners. So nice! X-rays were easy, photos were quick and easy, the price for retainers was not ridiculous, and no one tried to get me into another cycle of braces to correct anything, rather than just getting the retainers. The whole initial appointment was about an hour, total, which included literally everything I needed. I wasn't in the waiting room for a long time, or anything. I was prioritized, and the office ran like a well oiled machine. My retainers were ready for me to pick up a few days later, and didn't require any extra shaping or polishing. Impressive! Dr. Babb was very nice, and my dentist was right to send me to her. She knows her stuff, and has a great staff surrounding her. Anyone who's considering this office for any level of orthodontia should definitely feel like it's the right place. I'm super happy.

He immediately explained on the phone that he does not take insurance and that he is able to set up a payment plan for future visits. When I walked in and met with Dr. Sams, I immediately knew I could trust him. He asked me about my problems and then when we got into the exam, he could tell exactly what I meant when I was telling him about my symptoms. He validated everything that I was worried about and explained everything to me and was very patient. He even handed me a mirror and showed me the things that he was pointing to in my mouth. While I would prefer a doctor who takes my dental insurance, I have no problem going to him and paying out-of-pocket.

He was very calming and kept telling me I was doing well and to breathe. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is having an emergency. He is all around a great guy. He told me he could do three different percedures, and I chose to have the tooth removed. He drew a tooth on paper and showed me what he would do for a root canal for so much money, and they he said he could remove the tooth for $377, but this included the exam and X-ray. It showed I had an infection into my jaw from my tooth. When he was done, he showed me the tooth so I could see it came out in one piece. Gave me pain meds and antibiotics. Great care.
