They are Very caring, Honest, Trustworthy Plus the staff are incredible. Especially "Kim" in the Radiology Department. She is Absolutely The best in the Business. No two patients are the same, but yet they treat us like we are all just making stuff up, or it's not our lupus. So, after 5 people, one being a nurse, tells me "you need to go to urgent care" I'm like...Here we go, to the circus. Of yet another doctor, who will dismiss, not listening to me. I have lupus outbreaks, that look like shingles, bug bites, blisters etc etc. I have both CLE and SLE (skin lupus-systemic lupus-usually just saying systemic, because skin is your systemic ‍) I make an appt. At this dirty place. At 5:40pm, my husband asked, "can you make it earlier?" I call back, and I ask "is the doctor knowledgeable about systemic lupus, and can I have an earlier appt please?" She put me on hold for a few min. Came back, said "yes" to both. So, cool. Get in the car, drive up there, it's 4:20, and someone gets called before me, I'm like "neat, glad I came at 4:20pm for an appt". Not out loud, but in my head. Soooo, at about 4:50 ish, I get called back. I hear a couple of people just shooting the crap. Outside in the nurses station area. And I hear someone being really crass, super crass, and I'm like "god, please don't let this be my doctor" duhhhh duuuuuu It's is. She walks in. "Let me see yo bug bite". Ummm it's not a bug bite. There's NO fing indication it's a bug bite, ITS NOT A BUG BITE. I'm here to see if I have a fing infection in my lupus sore on my leg. She's like "ok then it's yo lupus. Aren't you on steroids already?" "No, I'm not, because I'm allergic". "Oh ok" she just rolls her eyes, I'm like "is it infected? Can you please check for infection?" She said "there's nothing to test, there's no oozing or anything to swab" ummm it's called a regular CBC that you can do. To check and see that my WBC isn't skyrocketing. But no, heaven forbid we actually do something that would actually make sense in the medical field. A cbc! No, we aren't going to check you for infection. Even though you're here for a potential infection. She's like "I'll give you antibiotics..." I said "I can't take oral antibiotics, I'm susceptible to cdiff" and rolls her eyes. Leaves room. Just out there talking crap, about me? I dunno, couldn't hear clearly. I've been here well over an hour, I'm irritated, and dismissed as always. So, I walk out and need to use the restroom, and I reiterate "is this infected?" She just was like shrug. Okkkkk. So, come home, cry for about 2 hours, and just go on with life, because doctors really just don't care anymore. They don't listen. They don't have compassion, empathy, kindness, good bedside manner, and I still don't know if I have an infection. Probably just picked up a virus or something due to uncleanliness. I highly suggest going anywhere, but here. I would have rather waited 7 hours at the hospital to get a fing answer, or at least a doctor who would listen and get an answer, but let's be honest. They don't care either. I'm waiting for my 8 month wait referral appt to a specialist, but in the mean time, I guess I'll just have to suffer in silence, and I dunno, walk around with an unknown infection. Just living my best life. Where are all the compassionate doctors who actually do their jobs? Not here. Not there. Not anywhere now a days. Like why be a doctor, if you give zero f's about your patients, or helping them figure it out? Isn't that what you get paid for??? It's a joke. Go anywhere, but here. Dunno where to tell you where to go, because no doctor really seems to care anymore. If you're scared you have an infection, definitely do not go here, you're more likely to leave with one, if you didn't go in with one. And you'll just pay for nothing. Pics of my "bug bite". That's what my discharge papers say.

We went to TMC 1st around 10:00 Monday night and at almost midnight still had not had anything done but basic questions and a urine sample. At with room FULL and a staff that was had the attitude I am just here for a check. We as well as a couple others gave up and left. After the 2 hours we were told it could be at least 6 to 8 more hours before they would see us. So my wife decided to call here and was told no wait come on in. So we got there very nice place very clean. It was just a matter of a few minutes from filling out the paperwork they got us to the back and Ray Lynn took great care of my wife. And then doctor Blake came in very professional and nice. Even with all that was done we were there only about 2 1/2 hours. They did find she had a kidney stone got her on some antibiotics and something to help with the pain. Got us on our way and back home before we would have not yet even been seen at TMC.

One thing that made me decide to not come ever to this ER is that the nurses asked me if I was trying to be pregnant or if I could be and I told her yes to both and told her everything I have done at home to figure it out and still didn't care and just took the pictures. Yes I know they are not obgyns but at that point you would think they would have tested me through blood testing before taking X-rays on me. MIND BLOWING HONESTLY

Anyone who care about your elderly mother would want the best care. I asked about a medication for mental issues used for pain and the response was --"she (my mom) was on it when she came to me. Wrong response. No assessment no plan of action. Move my mother to a professional doctor who assess her medication, came up with a game plan for all ailments, and recognized the cognitive issues with having an actual long conversation with my mother. If you want quality, and a place an African American man and family is treated with respect and a little courtesy don't go to this place. And for those who know me it took much effort to stay calm with the half sibling statement. Wish I could give zero stars.

The Hospice people were very nice and kept the family updated. Sherman is in need of another hospital . If you have an emergency you really have no choice. I had a situation when I went to Wilson and Jones and had to be moved to this hospita, and a situation when I went for supposedly was a simple procedure that became a hellish nightmare with the suppose to be patient advocate, who never talked to me covered for a few horrible nurses actions, the actions of a ultra sound blood taking person. Then I had an Indian nurse who did not know how to listen to a heart and at the same visit said she read my vitals and the readings were not good, but the one nice nurse was in the room and advised her my vitals were good that day and the prior day. The Indian nurse looked at us and ran out of the room. There are several rude nurses and many non-American doctors. Also, if you or a family member need rehabilitation services after a visit, please look take a look at all available rehab places. The Reba Rehab people, who are part of TMC are on the facility to try to influence you to their rehab facility. The only reason a gave two stars is due to my visits with the facility, the team of doctors that placed my stent were all true professionals and the hospitality they all showed was true and very nice.
