His office staff, specifically Taya are the most unprofessional and horrible people I have ever meet in my life. They can not keep scheduling straight and when they make a mistake they will both lie and falsify their records to make it your fault. After my surgery I was scheduled a 10:00am appointment a week later and when I got there they tried to say my appointment was at 9:30 and if it hadn't been for the PA they would have refused to see me. Then today I was running late due to traffic and ended up being 17 minutes late and they refused to see me. The office staff thinks the world revolves around them. Again, Dr Sandoval and the medical staff are awesome; however, that is overshadowed by the bag of excrement that is his office staff. In the future I will defiantly be going elsewhere.

(He's a coffee lover, so I have that in common with him) Wait times in waiting room are pretty short, be prepared to wait in the rooms, though. Rooms are cold! Procedure room is cold, too! (FYI they do have heated bed for procedures which is super nice). But your hands and feet will be COLD. ESP. If they do another procedure before yours while you are laying there . Prep is COLD, too! Ahhh warm that up, lovies! Don't worry about the sour face on one of the front office staff people. It's nothing personal. I think they are just focused or something. The nurses are all friendly. (She could smile more, but whatever. She's never rude or anything, so must be a demeanor thing.) They are all down to earth and personable. Fee free to ask questions. They should give out coffee to warm you up in the rooms, maybe music or a television would be useful. ‍ The care was great, so def. would refer!

During the visit I mentioned three health issues that I'm struggling with 2 of which need prescriptions. She didn't ask questions or address two of them! After the brief visit she disappeared to write notes and I had to wait again for a long time until she came back. At the last minute of the appt., while walking away from me, she remembered that I needed one of the prescriptions and then disappeared. What? How is this a quality visit? For more than two decades he had been the dependable go-to-nurse in a government hospital tending to mentally disturbed patients. Since last year our son's health suffered as the cumulative effect of a punishing work condition such that he needed medical care himself. Unbelievably, Los Angeles, California, with all its reputed cosmopolitan advances and progressive pretensions, proved direly incapable of providing satisfactory medical care when needed most. It's either that doctors don't service my son's insurance coverage or that their schedules were top heavy and for many other reasons. The couple of medical providers we ultimately contracted had their own sweet times of when to engage a patient such that there were emergency situations and they would not even pick up the phone. My son's employer also has doctors but they, too, were found wanting. My wife and daughters would take turn pleading, crying over the phone asking office staffs to connect then with the doctors, to no avail. There was someone we had been addressing as "Doctor" for sometime only to find out that he's a nurse practitioner. There were instances of seriously wrong medications prescribed resulting in my son's ailment turning worse. A Texas-based daughter brought to our attention Dr. Robert Hernandez of Primary Medicine of Sherman and, boy, he's heaven sent as far as we are concerned. In the words of another daughter, Dr. Hernandez is a doctor who cares, the kind of Primary Care Physician we're looking for his brother and everyone in the family. Laymen that we are, we, nevertheless, are capable of discerning the wide chasm of difference between our sad experience with California's medical world viewed in the prism of Dr. Hernandez' humanity, very capable hands, and sincere care of patients. Friendly office staff, too. As a matter of fact, we're in the process of resettling in this part of Texas so that everyone in our family can avail of Dr. Hernandez' care and expertise. I'm sure this is only the first of our shared observations for the benefit of everyone in need of competent, patient-oriented medical provider. At our first meeting with Dr. Hernandez, we feel that he was not just a doctor of the body and mind, but of the soul, as well, because he reaches out to our deepest longing for a friend, a confidante and someone akin to family, who we are not afraid to share our deepest fears and anxieties with. We feel safe with him both physically and emotionally, confident that he is someone who will be there for us. We look forward to more productive and more meaningful association with Dr. Hernandez and we wish many more will come to know him, as well. We certainly are not putting any pressure on the good doctor with unreasonable expectations because we know that all patients at Primary Medicine of Sherman are being treated equal. At this facility, you are not just diagnosed, but an action plan is established and monitored continuously, with adjustments of treatment as needed. This facility doesn't treat you as a dollar sign with no ongoing assessments and push pills on individuals like other facilities do. This is a true professional medical facility that treats their patients like family. Trust me I know. After being in health insurance administration processing claims, and investigating provider and insurer fraud, I have the skills to know a good facility. Before....they always billed it under another doctor's name so that is would show as in network. Well the new billing lady keeps sending it in under Dr Woods now which is causing my portion due to be much larger. I have spoken to them multiple times. Was told don't worry about it, it will be taken care of. Then I get the bill sent to me over and over again for a year now. The billing lady also called me a liar then called back and said I was right. I am currently looking for a new doctor. It is not worth the headache anymore.

Best doctor. Best staff. Cost effective. Was sick and he got to the bottom of it. Only cost me…read more$90.00 and I took my prescription to the pharmacy. My PCP was booked out for 2 weeks on sick patient visits and my insurance copay would have been $35.00 . So $55.00 to get back to work was well worth it. The staff were very nice and professional. Will be going back .
