Told them it was the oil cooler as Im familiar with the Vans since i've owned several of them. Told me it would take a week, Kept the van 3 weeks. A week after I got the van back it started leaking again. They charged me to fix the oil leak and because I told them not to actually change the oil cooler just the gaskets they would not warranty it. In the meantime I dropped off another Van identical to the one I had just picked up. Was told it would be a week and cost around 2400.00. 3 weeks later I was informed it would be 5800.00. I asked if i could just pick it up since I didn't want to spent that much on it. I was told sure its in pieces that I would have to send a tow truck to get it and it would cost 1900.00 as is or 2400.00 if they reassembled it. I told them to go ahead and fix it. Well when I got the van back 2 weeks later, the bill was 6200.00 and it did not run any better than before. It was actually worse. I was told the particulate filter was the problem. So I punched it out and still no power. They changed a bunch of parts that had nothing to do with the initial problem.. And on top of that I now have a fuel leak and an oil leak I didn't have when I took it in. The fuel and oil have leaked onto my alternator and ruined it. Which I have to have repaired and the alternator itself was 300.00. These people are horrible mechanics and bad people. Stay as far away from these crooks as you can. Wish I would have asked around before I took my vehicle to them because everyone I mentioned them too immediate said. OMG you didn't take your car to them did You!! There crooks!

We all thought it was the starter but he called us an hour later and said it was done. He said it was just a loose wire. Talk about being honest. He could have charged us for a starter and we wouldn't have known. Instead he fixed a loose wire and only charged us a small diagnostic fee. We will definitely be returning! They actually saved me a chunk of money by repairing a stat component that would have added hundreds to the bill if replaced (BMW, geesh), and keep in mind I didn't even ask them to take care of it. People who are truly passionate about their work go the extra step, sometimes without being asked, and they're that kind of people.

I would not recommend Lem's Truck & Auto to anyone! We took our truck to them after it had died on…read moreus on I44, after weeks of them having our truck we received no answers on what was going on with the truck but was told they could replace a part but that wasnt going to guarantee that it would work. Very soon after being told that they called us and told us the truck had been broke into and we needed to come pick it up. They told us it was our responsibility to fix the windows, ignition etc that was busted up but after asking them for video footage they decided to change their mind and said they would fix the window. We scheduled a tow truck to pick up the truck after the window people finished, when the truck arrived to our house we were surprised to find every piece they had taken off of the motor inside the truck just thrown in there. Several mechanics have told us they should have never done that and atleast put it back together. Putting the truck back together there were several missing parts that we had to pay for, and the "New" harness we paid for(through Lems) had several missing plugs. So in the end we paid a pretty penny to get NO answers, A truck that was broke into, and an engine with several missing parts and half the engine left in the cabin of the truck!! I highly recommend you NOT going here!
