I was definitely not happy with my experience. I made an appointment online at this location to get…read morea PCR test done and the system allowed it to go through, so I thought I was good to go. When I get there for my appointment, I waited 10 mins before someone came and told me to go to StatCare next door to get it done (I assumed they were affiliated with each other). The front desk employee at StatCare said they were not affiliated with each other and she had no one to administer the PCR test since it was a Jewish holiday. She also mentioned that staff from this Quest location did the same thing yesterday to their other patients. I go back to the Quest employee explaining that StatCare didn't have anyone to help me and she just gave me the same answer: "I don't have any kits to administer." Why wasn't I notified in advance at all?? I would've changed locations if I knew there weren't going to be any tests! I needed this test done TODAY to attend a wedding this weekend! The Quest Diagnostics employee gave me no options, nor did she even give me any other locations to go to, I had to google it myself. Now I'm scrambling to see if any other Quest locations will administer a PCR test to a walk-in patient (aka ME). I will not be coming back for PCR tests unless I'm forced to. Update: I was not able to find any Quest Diagnostics locations that would take walk-ins for PCR tests, but NYC Health + Hospitals (6315 14th Ave) had tests available for me as a walk-in so I was relieved. If Quest Diagnostics does the same thing to you, please go to NYC Health and Hospitals instead!

I went to all other locations and didn't get bruises and the process was smoother

Mobile Health - Dark and depressing place, and the workers got the same attitude. No knowledge of sanitation ! Is OSHA sleeping?!

I found the staff to be unprofessional and lacking in empathy--particularly concerning given my intense anxiety about blood draws. When I asked if there was a comfortable space where I could relax during the procedure, I was simply pointed to a cot, with no further assistance or reassurance. What concerned me most, however, was the disregard for basic hygiene protocols. The young woman handling my insurance information was wearing gloves she had not changed, despite having assisted multiple patients before me. She continued to wear those same gloves while managing my registration. This office is pretty dark and the lack of hand-washing facilities in the exam room is shocking! Maybe I would treat these facts differently if I had never seen decent medical care in the US! This raises serious concerns about adherence to universal precautions--standards that are not optional but mandatory in any healthcare setting, especially when gloves are involved. After I voiced my grievances,I was denied service and had no choice but to leave without receiving the necessary care. I am hopeful that this issue can be resolved locally and amicably, without the need to escalate the matter to the New York State Department of Health. But, unfortunately, I did not see any attempt to correct this situation. I am officially assisting my elderly mom and I don't understand why our family members have to go through any exams dealing with each other at all. We all truly believe it is an unnecessary waste of public money!
