I went from managed pain but functional to unable to continue working by 3pm. The PA was the one I saw for the next 3 months with no change to my pain, only questions about whether I was ready to have the pain pump. I finally insisted they make an appointment with Fetouh himself. 24 hours later I received an overnight letter discharging me from his care. Went back to my previous Dr who restored my original prescription, problem solved, my ability to function without debilitating pain restored. No compassion, no professionalism, just pure arrogance at this place.

Fake pee right and the temp was off so as I'm dumping more fake pee into another cup I'm just thinking how can I warm it up but I gave her the fake pee a second time and she checks it temp was no issue but the "mean" receptionist lady only would tme there's errors in my test and it had to go to the lab,mind you now I'm going home no scripts flipping out cus now I've paid for 2 piss tests on top of my appointment and was told "IF' THE LAB test comes back better I'd have to pay for that piss test before getting scripts..so a week later I go in,all expecting to get my scripts because in my mind the worse thing that could be wrong is my "FAKE"PISS DIDN'T HAVE ANY OXY IN IT... I'm there shocked fake pee failed for cocaine, so I figured if I come clean to Dr VELLEFF and let him know it was fake pee because of weed maybe he'd let me give my actual pee but that mean unprofessional receptionist said nope he doesn't want to see you or speak to you here's a paper for circles of care they can detox you as I'm in extreme pain and opiate sick.. so as I find myself on the street level not even believing how much I'm spending on the pills now it came to the point I couldn't pay my bills, then one fateful day someone said to me this $20 bag of H will get you twice as long as a $30 pill.. so I started with A little till the little wouldn't do so the little got more and more, so I stumbled upon straight fentanyl. Which was so wonderful I'd ask brown or white.. I'd only buy the white cus I'd be able to get 4-5 times outta $20.now I'm fully involved with a whole life I never knew existed right in my own neighborhood so it didn't take me long to be shooting it up..one day I'm super sick I can't even get off the bathroom floor so I call one of my new buddys and said stop off at my brotha from another mutha and I'd pay for his 20 for picking us each up one.. so he gets there and I'm sicker then I've ever been crying begging bro can you please fix my rig up and hit my vain I'm too Shakey pukey and totally unable to, the one thing he didn't realize is I wasn't expecting the whole dub in 1 shot he would do a whole dubthen another and another, I mean he saw me do a whole dub of brown multiple times so he just figured I'd need the whole point of fentanyl to get off empty, that was my first experience overdosing. I hung up and sent this email. They're so proud of themselves. My email: 'Dude. What a horrible experience trying to simply get an appointment. The lady said I had to 1) get a referral from who's been treating me (you can't request medical records like everyone else? I'm not in good health and have a lot of doctors. My pain management doctor is too far since I moved here) 2) have the imaging and discs/reports sent over? I have these. I have this all on a disc, along with the report. I wouldn't have been able to see an orthopedic surgeon, chiropractor, and neurosurgeon without them. But you can't take them? I'm having a T5-T8 discectomy performed very soon. I have the advantage plan that I have (PPO) so I don't need referrals. And I'm new to pain management - only the last few months, but my doctor is near my old home in Orlando. his place was my pain management for 2.5 yrs. At the beginning of my appointments, Dr Zaidi lied…read moreto me and told me I failed a drug test for morphine and codeen. I didn't realize those were two major ingredients in my meds and spent the next 2 months trying to figure out how I was exposed, it made me paranoid. Dr Zaidi never did tell me why he lied. Over the course of 2.5 yrs while under his care, the staff never acknowledged or responded to any of my emails, they only returned phone calls twice, and failed to do their job while communicating via text. When I addressed these issues I was met with gaslighting: excuses, trying to blame me, and major attitude from the staff and Amanda Folkner in their Babcock location (they have another location in Rockledge). All of my appointments were stressful and after surgery last year (C4-C5), it was like pulling teeth to continue care for my spinal stenosis (C5-C7) and torn rotator cuff (and leg pain which they ignored). I was in extreme pain for months and was begging for a better treatment plan to which I was met with excuse after excuse at each appointment. My last appointment was an emergency appointment (not the monthly) because my medication wasn't working (still). That morning when I checked in, the staff member was repeatedly making rude comments about another male patient who was sitting in the waiting area. I ignored the first comment and then she made another! I started to feel like I was stuck in an episode of Mean Girls. While in the exam room I was met with gaslighting and excuses by Amanda where at one point she went out and questioned her assistant as to why she pretended like our previous text conversation didn't exist.... When that assistant came in to place items for an injection, she was nasty and rude. Then Amanda reluctantly gave my my first injection this year, while still trying to make excuses, which I firmly told her "Not Even", "cut it out" and repeatedly had to tell her that "I'm not going to argue with you". She should have simply apologized for the mistake and corrected it, that would have been ideal. I was waiting on several orders which I was still communicating via text and my one request was I be informed when each referral was sent so that I could make an appointment. Still, the assistant refused to give me that information, which was now systemically a pattern of neglect. I left with the same weak prescription that I had all year (tramadol), I was in excruciating pain and crying. As I was checking out, the woman who had been making comments, decided to tell me how "we never make mistakes". . She then made the excuse that she could have done more if she had a current image, which was yet another excuse because I had a CAT scan in late May I had previously informed her about and confirmed. The more I reflect on what happened, the more I realize that the entire staff has a bad attitude towards patients, continually dropped the ball and it's obvious, hindsight is 20/20. They never were friendly, no bedside manners, especially with Dr Zaidi. After leaving, I figured I would email Dr Zaidi about my experiences, but, I wanted to wait a couple days for two reasons; 1. My birthday was the day after my appointment and 2. I wanted to reflect on the situation. Instead, Dr Zaidi called me the morning of my birthday. He was nasty, spoke over me, and refused to let me know which referrals had been sent. Because I couldn't get a word in, I slowly said, "I fired you yesterday", and hung up. Yes, after not receiving the texts I requested, and the awful way I was treated for their repeated mistakes, I had decided to find a new pain management Doctor. I'm not sure why he was being so hateful and immature when he called, he only confirmed that my decision to find a new pain management doctor was on spot. Overall, the staff and doctors could have easily acknowledged their mistakes (which I have digital proof of), corrected them, and moved forward, because I'm easy going, especially with proper care: Instead I was met with narcissistic behavior (I'm a psychologist which I never informed them), and was surprised that they were so openly unprofessional. I did find a new Doctor immediately and in less than a month, he adjusted my medication so that I can do things and am not in excruciating pain. He was appalled at my weak prescriptions, and shook his head in disbelief at how little care I had been receiving (my last 6 appointments, nothing was done besides renewing my prescriptions, not even a drug test). I never received printouts of my care and have decided I should audit them with my insurance company to make sure they weren't cheating my insurance. Nothing would surprise me about them after my experience. I don't recommend Brevard Spine & Joints, unless you enjoy being neglected as they bill your insurance and bank. I do recommend Narayana Healthcare and Dr Richard Adkins. He is extremely professional.

Then there's the doctor, who seemed clueless, rushed me through the appointment, and made me feel like my concerns weren't being listened to. I left feeling frustrated rather than feeling like I had actually been helped. The ONLY thing that saves this place from getting zero stars is Ashley, the APRN. She is kind, courteous, actually listens, and clearly knows what she's doing. She is the one person who makes dealing with this place worthwhile.
