For example, he said the first 25 miles were included in what we paid initially. Then we got back and it was like 27 miles. No big deal, we paid about $1.00 more. He also explained the importance of filling up the gas before returning. Still, he explained all of that before we left the lot. The van we used was clean and well kept. We watched another employee clean a truck as we returned the van. He seemed to be cleaning it like it was his own vehicle. It made our couch pick up and drop off super easy and a little more satisfying. And the gas economy wasn't bad either on the van! He helped another customer hitch up their rental to a truck while we're there. He literally got down on the ground and helped two other men. That was pretty stand up of him in my book. They sell moving boxes along with numerous other supplies inside the shop. Thanks UHaul and Anthony! $48.50 to use the van to move a couch was a steal in my book.

The buildings are very clean, organize and easily accessible. There is also a grass lot if you need to store a boat or an extra trailer. The staff is very friendly. Debbie, the lady at the front desk, is cheerful and is more than happy to go above and beyond to provide satisfactory assistance. Jim, the owner, is an easy going guy that is extremely friendly and knows how to how to manage property. Also, the company has many U-haul trailers and a company truck that is available for rent. This place has the best service and definitely the best rates. I highly recommend it for others.

They do rent U Hauls and they are always in stock (I have rented them twice from them). This is a great little gem when storage is so pricey!

I found myself much later...much, much later than I thought I would be getting back from getting my daddy's belongs from Statesboro yesterday and because of that all storage units in Brunswick were closed. Bigger problem was they are also closed on Sundays. That means I was going to be stuck paying for my $200 a day U-Haul until Monday and then not having my kids here to help me unload the stuff. I didn't get a unit in advance because I wasn't sure of the size I would need and was going to have to decide once we had things to bring back. Long story short...I was a hot mess after the dealings with the wicked one my father was married to anyway. That was the reason we were delayed so long in the first place. Mark was kind enough to open up after hours for me so we could get a unit. If that wasn't enough...he and his son in law jumped right in and helped us unload the truck so we knocked it out in no time. I can't thank Mark and his son in law enough for yesterday! And Canal Road Self Storage is a clean, fantastic place to store your things if you ever need a unit or two. Please go see him!

3.5 stars!? This makes no sense. I had the pleasure of meeting this team several years ago. I was…read moretraveling through and lost my turbo (and then some more damage from lack of oil). It appeared it was going to totally kill my planned vacation. I was on my way in under 8 hours. Mr Boatright loaned me a car to get to the keys. Yes gave me a car (no rental fee to leave the state) oh and at the time I was not a US resident either. (Greanted he had my car...) I was gone 10 days and when I got back it was ready in 2 more days. (I stayed with the mechanic whom I have stayed friends with till this day). It needed a top end rebuild and the turbo and it took 12 days and the car ran flawless. The following year on my annual trip to the keys I lost the transmission and I rented a Uhaul and towed it to Boatrights and was on my way again in a few days. In about 2 year time frame I basically replaced my cars drive train I did love that car and I sold it a few years later for 12k. With over 500K miles on it still running like a top. These guys know their stuff. And treated me like gold. Thank you B Thomas
