NONE of these expectations were met. My delivery driver waited for 1.5 hours while the florist took their time to put the arrangement together. Given their Google reviews, I had high expectations -- so I swallowed the delay and increased my driver tip. Due to the florist, we received the arrangement 1.5 hours later than the scheduled delivery time. I paid nearly $200 for this a day in advance. Given that it's Valentine's day: if the florist couldn't handle the order, then they shouldn't have taken it. This was a cash grab at best and fraud at worst. There are plenty of great florists in the tri-valley area, and I regret giving this one a chance on such an important occasion.

Restaurants are okay for the most part, but you're paying more for the location. The entertainment options are great: 1. Blackhawk Auto Museum is a must for car lovers, but they also have a special China exhibit and regular natural history in their main museum. 2. Ducks everywhere! You can destress while watching them swim and dive in the giant pond, and even feed them from food from Draegers. Lots of outdoor art too dedicated to ducks and geese. 3. Century Blackhawk, at least pre COVID, is an older but great theater where all seats are luxury recliners. 4. Gigantic parking lot. 5. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with Creamistry for hot days and Starbucks for any days. For casual eats, I like Beep's Burgers. 6. A playground for kids and grassy areas. 7. A Crunch! gym and a new martial arts studio coming soon. For COVID times, they offer outdoor Zumba on Sundays. 8. These used to have outdoor concerts here Pre-Covid. Even though we're still facing the pandemic, Blackhawk Plaza still has its charms. Its sad to see so many businesses close, but the ducks are always there to cheer people up.

Staging is worthwhile in regular times, but felt even more important given the uncertainty and restrictions around showing and selling during the pandemic. We needed all the help we could get. Pricing: Sonia is willing to work within your budget. We had three bedrooms (including out master), our bathrooms, living room, kitchen/dining, tech center, hallways, and office staged. Our particular staging came out to $1400. Sonia used a lot of our existing furniture to keep the price down. The Results: Sonia's work was beautiful. She really helped us show our house in the best possible light. Our house looked stunning in the photos, and we had 14 private appointments to view our home in the first week as a result. We accepted a very reasonable offer after 1 week on the market. I have no doubt that Sonia's work was a large part of our successful home sale amid this pandemic. I can't recommend her enough.
