Navigating insurance and finding healthcare providers in a new city is beyond overwhelming so I took my time finding a dentist. I am so happy I found District Dental! Parking was easy. Check in was easy. Reminder system is great. I saw Dr. Thomas. She was amazing as was her hygienist and front desk staff. They printed out a full quote for everything that I need done that was easy to read and understand as well as gave me a referral to a trusted oral surgeon. I am excited to go back because I know that I'm in good hands!

Then the dental hygienist came in and informed me that based on his review of my X-rays I needed a deep clean to remove some buildup under my gums (which he specifically said is not a new problem) but he'd be willing to do a medium deep clean. The insurance specialist informed me it would cost over $300, out of pocket. To be clear, I go to the dentist every 6 months and have my entire life. I brush twice a day and floss daily. The dentist today had no concerns about my teeth after reviewing my X-rays. No dentist (or dental hygienist) has ever recommended a deep clean before. And I was told this is "not a new problem." I declined the medium deep cleaning, the hygienist refused to do a regular cleaning and I left. The whole experience felt very scammy. And I still need to get my teeth cleaned.

absolutely phenomenal experience here!!! READ ON:…read more from the call i first made to inquiry as a new patient, to the moment i walked out the door i was treated kindly and with respect, being genuinely listened to and not rushed like most offices. everyone there, from the techs to Dr. Amin took their time to talk to me and make sure the experience was not just good, but great. I'm talking all the little details that most dont go to the effort to do. they have TVs galore there with your choice of Netflix to watch literally while you are getting work done. they even have a tv on the ceiling! i personally opted to listen to my own podcast, of which the tech paused to let me put on, totally understanding. the entire place is spotless. they say you can tell a lot about a place based on how clean there bathroom is... well this bathroom was immaculate. now to their actual technology, its state of the art. this guy really took investing back into his business serious. they have 3d modeling, high tech (extremely low radiation) x-rays, and even some crazier imaging technology that I've never seen before. another thing was they had a tool with a camera on it that can show the patient the exact up close visual that they see, on the ceiling tv. it's not like the old school way of using a mirror to kind of see what they mean. i saw that thing in 4k HD MAX ZOOM LOL. anyway, their pricing is extremely fair, even for me with no dental paying cash. its the type of business decision that will gain them more customers, as i already prepaid for my next visit and will be referring my partner and anyone else that needs an elite dentist. also the dentist is SWOLE AF, which if he has that kind of discipline, you can surely trust him to be diligent with his dentistry work A-Z. five stars. thanks for everything, even dealing with my overly intrusive material science questions lol.

Customer Service 5/5 - To begin with, the customer service here is out of this world! Dr. Wong, as well as his staff members, go over and beyond to try and make patients feel welcomed, relaxed, and as though they are really in good hands. He as well as his dental assistants made an effort to get to know me as a person before exploring the reason for my visit. Professionalism 5/5 - Dr. Wong is a highly skilled, second-generation dentist who has made this his life's work. I felt very comfortable with his mannerisms, and his calming nature was just what I needed. He was able to explain my needs and treatment options in a way that both made sense and eased my nerves. His gentle touch and speedy work are impeccable! After having less than desired dental work in the past, it was GREAT having work done by a true professional. Atmosphere 5/5 - The office is spotless. Friendly, smiling faces, and short wait times make this the place for me.

This office is interested in helping reluctant dental patients (*ahem, me*) feel comfortable and in control of their dental journey. Not an easy thing to do, but definitely can be done as evidenced by Dental Tree of the Heights investing the time to pulse check how the patient feels about dentistry in general. It turns out I needed quite a bit of work done on a variety of teeths in the molar quadrant of both sides of my lower mouth. Following the rules, I called once I parked in the lot, letting them know I arrived. Stepped into a beautiful, modern, clean office. I filled out all my new patient paperwork online, which is convenient and aligns with today's ease of technology. They took my temperature and asked that I acknowledge the appropriate COVID-related questions (have you been exposed, have you tested positive, are you experiencing any the following symptoms, etc). My hygienist was Hong; she was mindful of my anxiety, extremely careful with me and told me every step of her process, keeping me at ease. My dentist was Dr. Abdou -- a beautiful and kind woman! Thoroughly explained the state of my mouth (ha) and sent me on my way. Even as I was leaving, the front office staff wished me a good day and each referred to me by my name, which goes a long way. Have since recommended this team to family and friends. Also important to note: if you get your two cleanings a year, you get a free massage in-house! Keep up the great work Memorial Park Dental!
