I would even drive 30+ miles just for an oil change. I trusted them THAT much. Carlile Motors is our new shop. Our 2020 Suburban started having a click in the engine in March 2025. After taking it to several shops, even to a Chevy dealer, we just didnt feel like we were getting straight answers from anyone. In August 2025 we found Carlile Motors. Cesar at Carlile knew immediately what our issues were. He walked me through the fix every single step of the way from identifying the issue, explaining how it likely happened, explaining the relationship to that part of the engine to everything else, and what the options are for a fix. He explained a short term fix and a long term fix, the costs, benefits and challenges with each. Cesar explained everything to me in laymens terms because I dont speak the automotive language. Carlile Motors is top notch, and our new auto shop. They should be yours, too, if you dont already have a car guy. They do everything, from a simple oil change to major repair jobs. They work on fleets of vehicles, too, including state law enforcement vehicle fleets and jumbo dump trucks. That says a lot. Thanks Cesar and Carlile Motors Team. The wife tells me our Suburban runs quieter than when we bought it! I love my Suburban and you guys gave it back to me better than before. THANK YOU!

It was about 8 pm and all the mechanics were closed. I called the number for Able and Jeff answered. I told him the situation and he offered to wait until the tow truck got there. Once he solved the issue and ordered the part to come in the next day he dropped us off at a hotel and picked us up the next day! He even taught us to look out for signs of overpriced service from other mechanics! Wish he was in Gainesville because I'd take my car to him for anything! Great man, good mechanic! Knows his stuff!

In April I got a rebuilt transmission with a 1 year guarantee . I didn't get 3,000 miles. I was told by Will that he had an arrangement for cars that breakdown out of Florida, I broke down in Vermont heading for New York. The transmission (clearly) dropped with a boom, smoke and no forward gears In the very long 6 weeks where promises were made that he had a shop nearby that would take care of it, they'd be picking it up on certain day, then it would fall through agein and again. He said perhaps the fluid had leaked , no I said, the transmission dr, then he suggested it was only the forward gears, yes I said, that's traditionally what a dropped transmission is. Then he said he didn't hear back from the mechanic , so I called them and they said he wouldn't return their calls. Then he wouldn't return mine. The mechanic where it was sent said of course it was the transmission . I called Will , let's see, perhaps 25 times or more.and left messages. He finally took my call and he said he'd follow up. I called back and the recording said he'd follow was on vacation. 6 weeks later after he told me and the mechanic where it was sent, he'd return the money I paid. He sent a partial payment and charged me for towing and the diagnostic. Oh, and abandoned my car at that location. If workmanship, integ, ethics, hon and simple customer service and courtesy count...
