Promptly a gentleman rang my doorbell in the time frame I was offered. Greg B. came and was very nice and knowledgeable. He explained very well what he suggested we try. All the while he was advising us of the cost for the services he felt were necessary. There was no upselling or gouging that one is worried about. The measures he used were just exactly what was needed and when he was done I was assured the problem was addressed. I was delighted at his honesty and customer service. The cost was also excellent. I had a problem with my septic over labor day weekend, the owner was more than willing to work with me but informed me their truck was out of service so they wouldn't be able to help me that day. He said he'd call his son and see if he was available and call me back. The next morning I got a call to see if I still needed someone to come, I did, the owner said "let me call my son and I'll call you back" which he never did. I got home the next day (Tuesday) and called a different septic company who would be able to help me that day. When I called McGinnis back to let them no I no longer required their services their response was "okay, we'll bill you for the work we did" to which my reply was "what work?" There was no communication that they would be there, I did not give my consent to have any work done, and now I have a $300 bill for something the second septic company who showed up on Tuesday, told me I could have done myself. I have been waiting for the owner to call me back for over a week now. The most I've heard from this company is the son calling me to lecture me on how he was there on labor day and no one showed up at the house after an hour an half of him being there and working. No one called me to tell me he'd be there. Stay away from this company and avoid the headache.
