I have been coming to this place for years to play Bingo on Wednesday nights. I am actually the one that introduced Bingo to the bar. We had a great time every week for years. For the past couple of years or so it has been getting worse. There are young children in the bar running all over. The mother of a 6yr old is the cook's wife. Also has a 2-year-old. She yells across the room at the 6-year-old. The child will go into the kitchen to where her dad is because mother sent her. Now there's more children running around. It's a Wednesday night. These children should be at home in bed so they can get a good night's rest before school the next day. Bingo is 7-10pm. The food has declined over the years. It had gotten to where the only thing that would not give me diarrhea every week was the chili dogs and fries. Last Wednesday, 3/26/25, I got my usual chili dogs. I took two bites and knew something was not right. I had my friend taste it also and immediately spit it out. They were spoiled. Then another friend had hamburger patties with cheese, no bread, hers were spoiled also. The next day I found out another friend who had breadsticks, ended up with diarrhea. That was the last straw for me. I have other friends saying they may not be back also. Sorry Haley (sp), service sucks. Only one server to serve the whole bar except at the bar. Not greeted when you sit down. Have to flag down to get anything. It could be managed better. This is my rant. read more

I am more and more very disappointed at Shenanigans. I go to play bingo on Wednesday night. I've been going for a few years and experienced the good, fun times and the not so good times. When I first started going it was so much fun. Nice people and fun to play. As time has passed by, I've seen several changes with the servers. The current server is too busy with everything but her job. I usually have to search the room for her and many times I can't find her. The food has declined so much. Last week I ordered steak bites. After waiting quite a while for them I couldn't wait to try them. I had heard they were really good. They looked delicious. Unfortunately I had to grab my napkin and spit out the food. The meat was spoiled. I finally got the servers attention and sent it back and decided to order a patty melt since I've eaten them several times before and like them. I was shocked with my first bite. Had to grab another napkin. The meat was spoiled. Usually I would give up after 2 spoiled meals, but I was really hungry and needed protein. I searched for Haley, the server, and couldn't find her, as usual. So I got up and finally found her as I approached the kitchen. I explained that the meat was spoiled and that I wanted to try a chicken Philly. Last chance. I smelled it before I tried it and, thank God, I finally had food that wasn't spoiled. Of course we sometimes get a little loud and boisterous while playing bingo, but the wife of a cook attends with her two children and is inevitably shouting at her 6 year old daughter who is constantly running around the bar and bumping into patrons and hasn't been taught any manners or courtesy to say excuse me or I'm sorry. Lately there have been a few more children in there running around. Then we have the obnoxious noise makers. I have complained but since they buy food and drinks nothing will be done. The caller has explained to them, in the past, that several complaints have been made and has requested that they limit their enthusiasm and that was acceptable for a while. They are now getting worse again. I love the caller, Jennifer, and I've made several friends so I try to enjoy myself but it's getting more and more difficult. The attendance has been affected by these unfortunate incidents and possibly other issues. I hope it doesn't get any worse because I love playing bingo and visiting my friends. I would hate to stop going. I hope the owner/manager checks the refrigerator(s) so that no more food goes bad. I went to karaoke and it was really fun. No kids! I might check out trivia. We were looking for a spot to grab wings Christmas night. This seemed like the only place open in the area. Shenanigan's is your typical neighborhood bar. Inside is run down and needs updating asap. There are pool tables in the front. The bar is in the back of the room. Tvs line some of the walls. There's also outdoor seating. The bartender was working the entire room so the service was not the best. We ordered wings and spinach dip. The food was good--nothing spectacular. The drinks are cheap though. Came here for my first time while waiting on my car to be fixed. Staff was good, and receptive to customers. Now the food...paid 17.81 for their nachos that were not the restaurant style nachos, instead it was store bought scoop tostitos, beef tasted off a little bit (possibly cooked a tad bit to long, and the few restaurant style chips they put in that we "left overs" were stale. Full disclosure I had restaurant style chips with no toppings on top and some of the lettuce was wilted. Definitely could have been better, wouldn't recommend this plate, JUST the plate alone, haven't tried the rest of food so can only speak for this dish. read more

Actually was a decent "dive" bar, lot of regulars, food is good, bartenders rock, unfortunately recently its been slipping. All the A/C units are out which makes it pretty damn hot in there, not to mention the prices on drinks has jumped tremendously in the last few days, so when you combine the hot temperatures inside with drinking more because of the heat and the higher prices its not as enjoyable as it used to be. While the chef salad and their bleu cheese dressing was really good, I ordered the hottest wings they had and they were not hot. My wife ordered teriyaki hot and they tasted like plain teriyaki. But my Biggest complaint is how rude the woman behind the bar was. So my friends and I were looking for a new bar to check out in the area and did a quick Google search. We ended up here and at first we were kinda nervous about going inside because it seemed a bit sketchy from the outside but I was like let's not prejudge and check it out since we're already here. Decided to try somewhere new and the food was amazing but the service sucked. There were maybe 2 other customers and it took 20 minutes just to be greeted and asked what drinks we wanted. By this time we had already decided what we wanted to eat so we ordered our food as well. It took her another 15 minutes just to bring our drinks out (just sodas, nothing special) and then another 20-25ish minutes to get our food. And the server didnt even seem to care or check up on us. All we ordered was some wings and their shrimp appetizer and some of their loaded fries so to wait that long was just unacceptable to me. It didnt help that we had our 6 month old baby with us who started to get impatient as well. Overall, we did not feel welcomed or valued and the customer service sucked. Hats off to them for being the first bar/restaurant to re-open on Saturday just after hurricane Matthew on 10-8-16. Literally NOTHING was open anywhere near this place. They did a great job handling all the craziness and a packed house all day. They must have pumped out 1000 wings when we were there! Great low key bar! Came here on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised. The bar is sort of hidden away from the main road, but do not be discouraged. Not impressed at all. Food is just ok, service from the bar is poor, there are no waitresses when there was a motorcycle event. I was disappointed in the lack of attention to new comers to this bar. Last time I was here it was called Jack's Place and the service was the same on a busy night with karaoke. Who doesn't have waitresses foe a biker event? Who doesn't expect 30 or more people to walk through the all at once. That's what a bike run is all about. I think that's poor planning. What upset me as a new customer was that the regular bikers standing 2 rows behind me were getting handed a beer over my head. while I stood in front an old lady tending bar who ignored me until I gave her a little mean mugging look... then she asked if she could help me. When I got to the restaurant, they hadn't prepared the food, the order turned out to be wrong, and after I ate the food, I got food poisoning.
