My daughter's friend comes to Shenanigan's and her hair always looks very nice so I made appointments for myself & my daughter. Was pretty easy to map & find. They are in a VERY nice "strip mall" with the studio front facing the main road. Parking is not plentiful, but we managed to find 2 spots quickly. We both had appointments with Lindsey & she was so nice! She heard what we wanted & gave us solid styles!! We are so happy!! Wash, style & blow dry for $40 + a generous tip. Lindsay also has an assistant, which is great to have extra hands. The salon is SUPER cute - rustic, charming & everyone seems so friendly. We are going back, no doubt but I think what I love most about this studio is that they have reasonable prices!! They are not over-inflated - THANK YOU! Please reference pictures below. Had my girls see Sarah who we had seen previously. She started us out with a phone call asking if we could come in earlier then our scheduled time to help her out since she was clearly overbooked, we did. One daughter got only a hair cut which you can see is uneven, when it's dry it looks utterly ridiculous. Next daughter showed a picture of what she wanted and she rushed her through the foiling process telling us she had another client at the same time awesome. After sitting with wet hair for 20 minutes while she did the other girl she resumed. She asked for a V cut and as you can tell by the picture, that is not what she received. Her layers in the front were also uneven. Her color was brassy it looks horrific! When I called on Monday asking if she could fix her, she said she was busy and couldn't do anything other then toss on a toner and send her home with uneven wet hair. This after I came in early to help her out. The owner didn't care anymore then Sarah did and said she rents the space and how she treats people is up to her. Happily we were lucky enough to find a new place to fix her up with a wonderful stylist that spent emense time putting her back together for the first day of school. I did get a refund for one of my daughters hair minus the other ones who I didn't complain about since it was in a French braid and I couldn't tell. Minus tip as well. My daughter cried and was miserable and the owner and Sarah could care less. So disturbing on so many levels read more

I have had okay cuts here. I think the prices are just really high considering the okay results you get. The owner here isn't friendly so watch out for her. I recommended them to a couple of people when I first went and had to apologies later to them. I guess they felt the same and I wished I had not recommended them after my first visit. Should have gone a few times before I recommended. Definitely, can see going back for cuts when I'm in a pinch but for anything more, I will probably go elsewhere. read more

Wife went in for a visit. Been a long time customer and they made her wait 45 minutes and never saw her after saying "hello" at the door. Stylist knew she was there and didn't say or do a thing. Terrible way to try and keep a customer who has used you for 10+ years. Does anyone care about customer service anymore? Sad. read more

Over the course of two years and two stylists I've had mostly above average haircuts and a few really great ones. I've also had two that weren't so great. The last cut was unforgivable as the stylist did not listen to the answers I provided to HER questions and the cut I was given did not even resemble the pictures shown. You won't find a better salon, with nicer people in it! Every experience here is a joy and they've created an environment that makes you want to stay. While I don't use all the stylists, I do know from watching them that you truly can't go wrong with anyone in the salon, they are all absolutely amazing. I try not to review too many places I love because my experience usually changes the second I do, crazy but true. However, I just saw a 1 star reviews on here when I went to search for the number and I had to say something. I don't want to diminish someone's experience, but it must be said, she asked for a "natural balayage"...that's just not a thing. God doesn't make hair do that, so naturally it'd be hard to give her that kind of color transition and make it look natural. If she could achieve any balayage look in "5 hours" she had a great experience honestly. Having done this to my hair before, it can take many trips and some frustration when coming from a brunette color. Color is risky, at best, you truly can not always predict it, no matter how much experience you have or how great you are with hair. Everyone's hair is different and so will be their results with color. The upside to it though is at this salon they will listen and work with your concerns, go back and talk about it if you need to, they are just there to help. Also, don't go in with crazy expectations, at any salon. You can't go in with a celebrity's picture, who has had countless hours of color, a team of stylists, photoshop and a stack of money invested into it and say "this, this right here, I want it, today please." They are stylist, well trained, friendly ones, but still not fairy godmothers, they cannot bibbidi-bobbidi-boo you into fabulous hair in 1 hour. If anyone could though, this would be this place, they are just that good. Hair cannot be easy to work with, just too many variables and emotions run high. However, I've never been to another salon that will work with you and truly care how you feel, while giving you their honest opinion. I've been going to Shenanigan's for probably 10 years, following them from their old location by Mall of Georgia. I hope to follow them for many decades to come. Went in for a hair cut and balayage with Caitlyn. Took 5 hours. I had shown her a picture of what I wanted. The highlights did not take well in the front and was "brassy." She tried to fix it but it did not work. She told me to come in the next day and she would fix that. However, when I got home and was fully able to look at my hair, I realized that I had 1.5 inches (I asked my friend to measure it so that I was not off on this) of solid brass highlight in the front at the root, which was absolutely the opposite of what I was trying to do with a balayage (the rest of my head you can't even see any highlights at the root), which is a more natural form of highlighting. I called the salon to talk to Caitlyn about our appt that day (which was the next day), as I wanted to let her know that the appt would probably take longer than she thought, and the owner (Jody) took it upon herself to talk to me. She was very rude and not apologetic at all, and told me that she HAD to be present for the fix and therefore I had to wait 3 days for her first availability. Not once did she apologize for my negative experience and she clearly did not try to go out of her way to accommodate me due to the many inconveniences that I had experienced. I will say that Caitlyn was very friendly and nice. Oh, and I also paid them $195 which is ridiculously high in price! Other places I pay $125 for the same services. I wanted to check them out since I live in the area, but NEVER AGAIN. Stay away. read more

I wanted so much to love this after reading other reviews. I went in to have my hair trimmed and toned, and walked out with a ruined head of hair. My stylist asked intelligent questions "do you want to keep length" "do you like the layers" to which I responded - I have been trying to grow this out and get it to one length forever- through two babies and 36 months of prenatals! She was sweet, and proceeded to cut the shortest layer so short I could not even put it in a pony tail. Color looked okay walking out, and now 3 days later looks like I never had it done. I was so upset at the fact my face was framed with a boys bowl cut, and then my chest length hair remained, I chose not to react - as the stylest couldn't glue hair back. I attempted to call, and will admitt was in tears when speaking with one of the managers. 4 kids under 7 with hair that can't be in a pony tail is really actually a problem for me- and I over paid for what I Got. read more
