First time trying this sandwich shop so review is limited to only what we ordered. The chicken salad sandwich on toasted wheat bread was nothing to rave about. It was not loaded thick with chicken salad and I commented on how little it had. The taste was different too but it is homemade and I think they use sweet pickles. The Roost's chicken salad is far superior in my opinion. The club sandwich was decent; however, it was not overly huge like a photo I saw previously. My husband, who typically cannot finish a sub, ate it all. The banana pudding was a big disappointment! It had an unusual, chemical taste and just 2 cookies. The portion also was very small for $4. I honestly could not eat it and my husband agreed that it had a chemical taste. The brownie with peanut butter top was ok. The brownie was dried out but, I think it was free. The cost was $28 for 2 sandwiches and the pudding I could not eat. Trying to be honest because other things on the menu may be awesome. Great family deli. Everything from sandwiches soups and dessert. Everything homemade.

Mine and the man's go to place! Tonight we had the roast beef, bacon and cheddar sub. Not to mention I can't leave without a banana pudding! We have tried more than 5 of the different subs and never have we been left hungry or unsatisfied. Our meal times are usually filled with "oh man" and "mmmm" lol The brownies, cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls all tested were delicious and we have our favorites. I went to this shop because they had raving reviews. This is an honest one. The food is fine, very basic. Both sandwiches and baked goods aren't anything to write home about. I love supporting mom and pop shops when I can. We just moved here and we thought we would try this place. Very small place with 2 tables inside. Large counter with homemade cakes and cookies. We ordered 3 different sandwiches and 3 different cakes. The cakes we beyond delicious. Sandwiches were just ok with Walmart brand cheese and a very small amount of meat. (Smaller than Subway). Small shop with two tables inside and one outside close to the center of town. Place looked really clean and had sweets on display when you walk in. It's family owned and operated and they make everything they can from scratch. I had the Italian sandwich as the kid recommended and it was amazing, flavor was spot on and the homemade bread really set it off. I was recommended to go there because you get more meat than subway for the subs but on the sandwich I didn't see that so much but still recommend it for the amazing flavor.
