Today, I ordered the Golden Eagle again and specifically asked for lighter ice, hoping for a better balance. What I got instead was a medium cup drowned in milk. The moment I saw it, I was already frustrated and said, "Why is it so white?" One sip confirmed it -- pure milk, no coffee flavor at all. Completely undrinkable. I was sitting on the passenger side, and if I had seen it sooner, I would have absolutely asked for it to be remade. I don't care if the cup is filled to the top -- I care about the quality of an iced coffee latte, which this location seriously lacks. To make it worse, I ordered two drinks, because my boyfriend liked mine from yesterday and didn't get one then. Both drinks went to waste -- money thrown away. If I end up coming back before leaving town, I will be bringing this up and asking for my drink to be remade. To whoever owns or manages this location: please take note and do better. But I finally made it today within the last 10 minutes before closing on a Sunday! There was a table inside & a table outside, & a few barstools. The eating area was kinda small but welcoming. Maybe most customers just take their orders to-go, without staying very long. I didn't see what the restroom(s) were like while there, & I was the only customer at the time. There was only one person working there, but she worked quickly, & processed my payment (they accept Visa cards). I ordered 2 meal-replacement shakes, since I couldn't decide & they both sounded good. I was originally gonna do one 24-oz shake (medium size), but since I got 2, I did 2 16-oz shakes (small size). One was lemon-blueberry cheesecake, & the other one was peanut butter (including chocolate & toffee, among other ingredients). She also recommended the thicker "shake straws", since I first selected a regular straw (for teas & juices). The size of the straw didn't matter as much on a hot day while I was driving anyway, even though the shakes are nice & thick. I definitely hope to return there to try more shake flavors, as well as some of their other drinks & treats!
