My first experience with Shelley goes back to 2011 when she helped me purchase my very first home. As a 23 year old single guy I knew as little as possible about realty but with great luck I stumbled upon Shelley Tappin. I would give Shelley Tappin 100 Stars if that were an option. I am so glad I was referred to her to help me sell my rental property. She is a fabulous Realtor. I was amazed at how much she went above & beyond my expectations of a Realtor. I live over 15 miles from the property and am very busy with my career. In addition to doing a great job at the usual tasks and giving me lots of good info, Shelley also helped by checking on the house, posting notices to the tenant & finding me a good eviction lawyer when the tenant wouldn't leave (despite 6 months notice), dealing with the water company, finding good contractors to make repairs, and more things than I can even remember. In addition to walking me thru the process, she also "held my hand" emotionally as I stressed out over the tenant who wouldn't leave and other bumps in the road. She is very knowledgeable, level headed, diplomatic, empathic, kind, and extremely helpful. I never knew a realtor to do so much, and at the standard % cost. The house I sold was rather small and cost less than most houses in the area, so I believe Shelley made less $ on my house than on most she sells. Nevertheless, she gave me the kind of service that a millionaire might expect. I tend to be rather demanding when I hire someone, but with Shelley, she gave a lot more than I asked for. I can't I find enough positive words to describe how well she served me. She's the best!!! (Oh yeah, and by the way, the house sold for more than Zillow's value estimate.
