I am a homeowner who entrusted Krystle Properties with managing one of my rental properties, with…read moreevery intention of eventually transferring additional properties to their management. Unfortunately, that will not be happening. In fact, I am now counting the days until I can terminate my contract. From the very beginning, my experience has been marked by constant changes, poor communication, and repeated excuses. My rental payments were delayed for several months, and only after the fact was I informed that this was "normal" for Section 8 rentals. This expectation was never communicated to me before I signed my management agreement. Communication has remained consistently poor. I discovered accounting errors and had to bring them to the company's attention myself. When I politely--but firmly--expressed my concerns, I was told that I still had 30 days to cancel my contract before being committed for the remainder of the year. Had my circumstances allowed at the time, I would have ended the relationship then. Since that conversation, the situation has only worsened. I have now gone without receiving rental payments and have had more than 25 phone calls ignored or left unanswered. When I contacted the Vice President seeking assistance, I did not receive a direct response. Instead, another staff member contacted me three days later to schedule a meeting for the following week. When I called for my appointment, I was told he was very busy and asked to reschedule the appointment. While all of this was occurring, I contacted the Housing Authority directly and was informed that payments had been issued to Krystle Properties, but there were issues with the company's bank account. However, when I have finally been able to reach someone at Krystle Properties, usually only by calling from a different phone number, I have been told the exact opposite. I am now in my second consecutive month without receiving my rental income. Despite repeated attempts to obtain answers, no one from the company has returned my calls to explain the situation or provide a resolution. Yet, Krystle Properties continues to deduct its 10% management fee. I have also requested a modification to my management agreement, but I have been told that only the Vice President can approve such a change, and I have been unable to speak with him despite multiple attempts. Additionally, my management agreement states that I am to be contacted before repairs are authorized. Instead, I discovered charges on my account for repairs that I neither approved nor authorized. As a property owner, I have lost confidence in Krystle Properties' ability to manage my funds, communicate professionally, and fulfill the obligations outlined in our agreement. My experience has been extremely frustrating and has raised serious concerns about the company's financial management, responsiveness, and overall business practices.
