Hi everyone, just wanted to share our experience with shellback plumbing. Few days ago our boiler was leaking water so we had to shut it down. Didn't know what needed to get it working since I have no idea a put the boiler so my neighbor suggested I call shellback. We did and the honesty and integrity of these people is amazing especially Migeul our guy who installed a new boiler. Very knowledgeable in what he dies and even gave us some few pointers to save money on maintenance. I'm writing this review a few weeks after Shellback replaced our water heater. While at first their quote seemed more expensive than other companies that I got estimates from, maybe it really wasn't. I found that Shellback gave me estimates for different tiers of water heaters (basic, mid-range, premium) whereas other places gave quotes for limited, or only one type of water heater (that was the only water heater they would install). Also, Shellback was able to fit me into their schedule without along wait time, even the same day. They had a live person who answered the phone. Jesse, the technician they sent out was great, very communicative and accommodating. I had missed his phone call when he was at the property, to let me know he could do the installation at that time. Since I hadn't returned his call in a timely manner, he went to do another job. It was then that I returned his call, and he told me he would be back to do the installation after he finished his current job. He came back to the property close to 5 pm and completed the installation that evening. The water heater is working well with no issues, and their customer service is great. I highly recommend Shellback Plumbing. I have used them on multiple occasions, and they are excellent. Jose and Jose came as a team to install plumbing in two bathrooms. They installed two toilets, a shower system, vanity faucet and another hanging vanity and faucet. They were on time and professional. The hanging vanity was difficult because they had to reconfigure the drain. They did a wonderful job. We are very happy and would not hesitate to use shellback plumbing again. Over the last few weeks I've had several plumbing issues addressed and solved with Shellback. I appreciate the quick response and ability to get to my home in a timely manner. Miguel and the team successfully installed a new sewer clean out valve in the front of our home. This project was quite involved and required several days of work. Throughout the process I was kept informed of the progression of the job and each day my home was left with a clean worksite. The end result is a problem solved with restored concrete on my front porch. Most recently, Miguel was able to install a new shower cartridge in a bathroom, restoring hot water flow in the shower. While it isn't fun to deal with plumbing problems, having reliable and courteous service makes the process a little easier to deal with. Each of the jobs I've had them address- shower, flush valve, and sewer drain, were priced fairly and I am pleased with the quality of the work. read more

I had what I thought to be a drain clog to turn into a much bigger problem, as I discovered my galvanized p-trap and drain pipes under my sink to be completely corroded. Aw man! Since this fix wasn't an emergency I called a couple of plumbing services for free quotes over a course of a week. Shellback came out on top! David came to take a look at my issue, and seeing how he explained the problem and walked me through my options of repairs. I could tell he was very experienced. The pricing was VERY fair and was able to jump on the fix right away after accepting the estimate. He was friendly and fast and I couldn't be happier with the work done today. I am such a fan! We had a water leak that the 1st plumber we contacted could not figure out. He ended up giving us a proposal that didn't feel right and was very expensive. Wasn't sure about starting with a new plumber, but I saw the reviews and said why not give them a try. So glad I did! I was originally given a window later in the afternoon, but the plumber, David K. . was in the area earlier and was able to come earlier than expected, which was great. OMGosh! I called Shellback because our water was running a lot in our upstairs bathroom. Chris came out and replaced our regulator and thought it would solve the problems we had been having. It solved nothing. All day and night yesterday the water ran dispensing as much water as if you were taking a shower. 24 hours of running water. I called Shellback today and they sent over Jesse with in the hour. He is very Knowledgeable and professional. My gosh he is outstanding! He fixed everything that we had called them out about the first time. He fixed everything really quick with in an hour and then said they would not charge me because it was not done the first time and he apologized. He also said since our water bill will skyrocket and we might get a fine so they would write us a letter to help us have that extra water taken off our bill. See a company can screw up because no one is perfect but when they make it right for their customers that's all you can ask for. This company is Triple AAA rated. Everyone's nightmare, to look up at the ceiling and see a new water stain, right below the toilet upstairs. I took the old toilet out and replaced it with a new one. Cleaned the seal and placed a new wax seal down, easy as pie. I flushed the toilet and still had the leak. My neighbor recommended Shellback, and within an hour Kevin had arrived. He was awesome he looked at the leak area and the empty hole in the bathroom because I removed the new toilet thinking it was something serious. Kevin inspected the flange and said everything looks secure. He suggested I use an extra thick wax seal and the problem may be solved. We all know that he could have charged me for something I didn't even need but he didn't charge me at all. I told him I could place the new seal and seat the toilet. Once I flushed the new toilet after placing the thicker wax seal, all was good. I appreciate Kevin's help and you will be the first people I call from here on out. read more

SoCalGas informed me that I had a leak in my yard line. I found Shellback Plumbing on Yelp, which had many great reviews, so I called them. They were flexible with scheduling, which was very convenient. I also recently bought a bidet and figured I might as well get both issues taken care of simultaneously. They sent out David K. the next day, and he was incredibly helpful and patient in explaining everything to me, as I don't understand plumbing very well. He quickly identified the leak, installed the bidet, instructed me on how to use it, and even took the previous toilet seat with him, which was nice. The price was very reasonable, and I gave him a tip for his great work. On a side note, while many people complain about tip culture nowadays, I understand the sentiment. However, it's important to tip hardworking people in the service industry. I'm very happy with my experience and will continue using Shellback Plumbing, specifically requesting David for future plumbing needs. read more

I was referred to a plumber by my HOA for a broken water heater. Turns out that plumbing co didn't service Whirlpool water heaters. Didn't know what else to do except search online for plumbers in Santa Clarita. Shellback Plumbing was one of the first ones to come up so I took a chance and called. The guy that answered the phone was very friendly. He said he could have a guy out to my place between 10am and 12pm that day (I called at 830am). Miguel showed up and he was very friendly and personable. He explained what the issue was and gave me options of replacing parts or replacing the water heater. Just had Alex out because the spigot on our patio was so old that it wouldn't shut off. He arrived on time and I got a 20 minutes heads up text that he was on the way so that I didn't have to wait hours.
