Had a water heater leak (water heater is 22 years old) so found out we got a lot of miles out of our water heater. We shopped around and Shellback gave us the best quote. Moreover, most of the plumbing companies to assess the damage were charging for the visit but Shellback's was free. A+ I gave them 4 stars for with water that leaked in our garage, there was dirt that the workers left just for working around the area - understable and I was not sure if they were supposed to clean anyway. The guys were all respectful (those who came initially to assess and the guy who installed). I still would recommend them for the free initial visit, competitive pricing, installation (took about 4 hours) , knowledgeable crew and prompt response. Thanks Shellback! read more

My service professional David K. was extremely professional and helpful in attempting to unclog the kitchen drain in my condo unit. Unfortunately, the problem went beyond my property into the building's main line. Water was backing up from a clog somewhere in the building. He explained the situation to the HOA of my building to expedite their services. David also tried to reach out to my adjacent and upstairs neighbors to inform them of the situation but there was no answer. David went above and beyond to resolve my situation and is why I will continue to do business with Shellback Plumbing and Drain in the near future. Their customer service is unbeatable. read more

We have used Shellback Plumbing for years. Recently, a plumber came to make a repair. After he left, our hot water wasn't getting hot. We called a service person for the water heater who said our circulating pump was burned out. And it was likely caused by the plumber turning off the water to the house and not unplugging the circulating pump, which burned out with no water source. We explained the issue to Shellback. We didn't know for sure if the plumber had made a mistake, but it seemed that way. Gary at Shellback ordered a new circulating pump and replaced ours for no charge. With no discussion about who was at fault. So, I will always use Shellback. They are a truly reliable and responsible company. read more

My technician Cameron was so thorough and helpful! He was honest and very experienced. I will definitely use them in the future.

I'm very happy with the services provided by David A. from Shellback Plumbing and Drain on Monday, November 24th. He did a great job. I called around 9 am regarding a slow draining toilet and a leaky external faucet replacement. The main focus was the toilet repairs so the dispatcher, Eddie, could get someone out in the two hour window of 11 am to 1 pm which was great. However, I wanted to fix the faucet so it only delayed the window until 2 pm to 4 pm.. David showed up around 2:30. pm. He assessed the situation regarding both issues and provided a reasonable repair cost estimate. The repairs required the removal of the toilet that he replaced in a clean and professional manner. The faucet required removal of a welded faucet with one that was threaded which makes it easier for future replacement. All work was completed within 1 1/2 hours. Thank you David for your services! read more

Service was completed by Kevin and was completed successfully, and the area was left clean and all debris cleaned up.

They quoted me an estimate over the phone. After showing up and remarking that the job was only a flush, not a repair, that would take 30 to 40 minutes, they quoted me a much higher price. I expressed my confusion. They left. read more

I did not receive any follow-up communication after the initial inspection, nor was I provided with a quote.

Johnny responded to our request. Our pressure regulator had gone bad. Johnny gave us options as well as a worse scenario option. He was able to replace the regulator without having to do other repairs, saving us significant money. His service was timely, quick and well done. Pricing was reasonable. I would highly recommend Shellback Plumbing to all. read more

Jessie, Johnny and Eddie are amazing! They hydro-jetted my clogged exterior drains on a wet rainy day and I'm so thankful for their help. They were knowledgeable, efficient, accurate and kept my backyard clean! They were communicative throughout the entire process and gave me the best advice for maintenance and moving forward. They showed me all the tree/bush roots in the scope and explained where all the 90° pipes were located and broken. As a interior designer, I know how important it is to have knowledgeable vendors and these guys are truly the best! read more

This is an outstanding review for Shellback and they didn't even do any work for me! I called for a drain clean out due to an odor coming from my sinks. Jessie and Jr arrived as scheduled to check things out. Very professional, looked at my whole system, and due to no clogging or drain malfunction advised to use White Vinegar in all drains (including sink overflow holes) then flush with hot water. They were professional and courteous and gave of their time with no compensation. I appreciated the time they took to review my situation and provide a solution even though it was not a sale. I will be calling Shellback for any future needs for sure. read more

Had a tech come in to look at my water heater to see if it was possible to repair didn't even look into anything took down the number of the heater and quoted me 2400$ to replace it quoting it was un repairable had a second plumber come to see the unit cleaned it off and reset it and it worked just fine.. absolute scam of a company do yourself a favor and call someone else read more

Plumber arrived annoyed upon arrival. I was really hoping to find a new plumber, but will definitely keep looking. Finding a plumbing company that you can trust is not an easy thing. That is unless you decide to go with Shellback plumbing. I called at 11:20 this morning thinking that I would have to clear my calendar for the rest of the week at least to be available for an appointment. Miguel showed up at my house at 12 o'clock not only was the courteous, professional and thorough. He took the time to explain the issue. He wasn't rushed to complete the job and although he had to snake my drain twice, he got the job done. He took the time to make sure that there were no leaks and that the drains did their job correctly. He also cleaned under the cabinet really well. I feel like I've found my go-to plumbing company and especially a plumber I can trust. Thank you Shellback and thank you Miguel! read more

OMGosh! I called Shellback because our water was running a lot in our upstairs bathroom. Chris came out and replaced our regulator and thought it would solve the problems we had been having. It solved nothing. All day and night yesterday the water ran dispensing as much water as if you were taking a shower. 24 hours of running water. I called Shellback today and they sent over Jesse with in the hour. He is very Knowledgeable and professional. My gosh he is outstanding! He fixed everything that we had called them out about the first time. He fixed everything really quick with in an hour and then said they would not charge me because it was not done the first time and he apologized. He also said since our water bill will skyrocket and we might get a fine so they would write us a letter to help us have that extra water taken off our bill. See a company can screw up because no one is perfect but when they make it right for their customers that's all you can ask for. This company is Triple AAA rated. I would trust no other with my plumbing needs. Thank you Shellback! I love this company! read more

I am such a fan! We had a water leak that the 1st plumber we contacted could not figure out. He ended up giving us a proposal that didn't feel right and was very expensive. When I contacted Shellback I spoke to Edgar who was very friendly and was able to send someone out within the hour. Kevin was the plumber who showed up and it just gets better from there! He determined where the leak was and was able to provide a proposal that made sense and was much more reasonable. He was professional, efficient and because of our experience with him, Shellback is now our #1 go to plumbing company! read more
