Once again, I am so very impressed by this company! I came home after a long day at work, to discover one of my toilets making a non stop dripping sound. This is the second time used shellback and they are just as professional as the first time and I'm extremely happy with them. First time was my husband wanted to put a new sink in the garage that was not there before which is a bigger job than we had in mind originally. Let's say Shellback is NOT the cheapest but that's money well spent! They are professional in terms of attitude, skills, clear communication with my technician and their office staff and they keep the job site really clean! I ask a lot of questions cuz I don't know a whole lot about plumbing but I like to learn what's happening at my house as much as I could and I am quite a perfectionist which means I am VERY PICKY, but I can't be happier with what they've done so far. We just had the rough plumbing redone for the whole kitchen remodeling and as nerdy as it sounds, IT LOOKS GREAT! Also there were this little incident that we had the measurements off by about 2 inches where the pot filler is located. Called them yesterday and David was able to come by and get that taken care of right away! They are also very good at sending quotes, invoices on the timely manner! I had a slow leak in my garage ceiling. I had no idea where the leak was originating (could've been from anywhere). I called a couple of leak detection companies and received quotes from them. But I decided to call a plumber to see what they could do for me. I called Shellback, since they have very good Yelp ratings. They said they could send someone out and tell us what they think, free of charge. Miguel came out, and suggested that he could cut an opening in the drywall to determine the source of the leak, for a lot less money than the leak detection companies wanted. This company is ridiculous. Our housekeeper accident broke our bathtub spout so we called Shellback because we had used them in the past. They sent a guy out that charged us $350+, we had to go buy the new part, and ultimately he couldn't fix the problem. He said it was too complex and would have to open up the wall to fix it which would be so expensive. On top of that, he was very rude to my father-in-law any time he would ask a question. Then I had Rite Aid Plumbing come out and they replaced the bathtub spout in literally 15 minutes and charged me almost nothing. I'm never using Shellback again. Called to get a drain cleared and they were able to send out a technician in just a couple hours. Price seemed kinda high, $159 to clear the tub drain through the clean out. I guess you have to pay extra for a guy that wears a long tail shirt so you don't see any plumber's crack. read more
