There was another place nearby but I have a friend who went to the other place and the work they did put her at risk. We went in a couple weeks ago to get a price on tires. I wanted a certain tire. I had a Show Truck for 5 years and I ran Toyo's on it. Great tire, so I wanted the same ones. The gentlemen at the front counter was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We also saw Newport PD had one of their cars there. I'm a retired first responder. You can't afford to have a place do bad work on your response vehicle so seeing a NPD car there, I was impressed. We received a call the next week the tires were in. We scheduled an appointment for an early morning. Our truck was taken in immediately and work began. Their location is central so we were able to walk around town. It took a couple hours to get everything done. The price was right where I expected it. The tires are great. The truck drives smooth. This is definitely a place I will give my future business. Our truck is now out of warranty and I was wondering where I was going to take it. This is my new place. Great work guys! Thank you!

I went to the web site linked to the business and found it helpful and easy to navigate. I called the business, spoke to Doug , he recommended a tire for my vehicle. The price on the web site about 152.00 for each tire, I then asked for the out the door price and it sky rocketed to 1015.00 That's over 100.00 to mount and balance each tire. I asked him why the price went up so much, he said he did not know who put those prices on the website, and he would make no money at those prices. A very poor answer for an obvious bait and switch operation. If you go to the other big tire shop chain in town, there is clear transparent pricing, showing the price for each step of the purchase, exactly what everything costs, nothing is hidden. I guess that on the coast you can get away with doing business like that, not so much anywhere else, you would be out of business soon. Caveat Emptor

All of the sites that were occupied were filled with long-term tenants. We were the only folks with short-term RV intentions. After all is said, I still highly recommend this place. If gold plated restroom fixtures are high on your priority list, this is not the place. But, the restrooms were clean and the showers were hot. I can't complain as I have certainly seen worse. The best thing about this place is the proximity to the beach. Literally right across the street. Great opportunity to catch a wicked sunset. We packed up a bottle of wine and dinners and had an amazing campfire on the beach. This place is small, probably no more than 12 RV sites, but if you're looking to get away from the masses consider a stop here. The long-term tenants are quite the characters, but very friendly and you'll have a story to tell after you talk to them. Pizza place across the street is inexpensive and worth a visit if you're looking for food. Service was good, and if you feel compelled there is even a car wash on site. Best assessment, don't judge a book by its cover.
