This place always has the reasonable prices often lower than Eugene. The employees have ALL been friendly, respectful, prompt and helpful. Been coming here regularly since we moved to the area in Oct 2022. Not sure what all the hub bub is about. read more

Lazy, and very rude! I pretty much already knew never to get gas here. I have always heard they have been a nightmare to deal with from service, bad gas, and have even heard rumor of pumps not working right at times to where people possibly over pay. Anyhow my complaint for now is we went to get propane at the other place first, they were out. So we show up here. No other car in site. It's early morning. We were told NO, in a very rude manner and was told the reason was because there was no one there. Make this make sense! So they would rather not make money? Is that what we are hearing? Never making the mistake of going here again. Already knew the place was bad. Figured how bad could it be to try for propane? I guess that's a nope! Zero stars if I could, and this is pretty rare for me. read more

Horrible. Attendant rushed to my car door screaming at me asking "can I help you?". I mean yelling and scaring me. I just asked "can't I pump my own gas"? He threw his hands up and stormed off. I couldn't believe how badly this interaction was. He then decided to shut off my gas pump forcing me inside to get assistance from this asshole. Then acted like he didn't just yell at me for no reason. The guy in front of me was shook. He was apologizing for that Jack wagon. What is the issue that so many people seem so angry in this area??? I am a woman that was alone. Not ok and he's lucky I didn't take another route to ensure my safety. Do better. read more

Rolled in on fumes at 8:52 pm. Attendants turned pumps/signs off and wouldn't serve us, even though posted hours say station is open until 9. Circle K got our business. This is the second, and last, time I will stop here. It's not a good way to operate a small, local business. read more

Horrible, rude attendee. I taught customer service for years, spent years in call centers where people began the calls cursing, and I could turn them around. I believe in teachable moments rather than punishment. I have never been treated in such a way that I actually lost my cool in all those stressful situations. The attendant demonstrated everything you don't do when working with the public. My response, though not proud of it shows me just how bad he was. This is the first person I wanted fired. After waiting long enough at the pumps that we gave up and got out to pump our own gas, the attendant came out and told me I should "learn my place" and "learn not to touch their property." (He reached to grab my wrist - not the wrist holding the pump.) I told him to back off and that I wouldn't be pumping my gas if he'd done his job, that we had waited long enough. And he needed to back off. He countered with "I have other things to do besides help you, you know." (There were no other cars getting gas.) I told him we are in a hurry as he started to go back in the store as our gas was pumping, knowing my tiny tank would be full in no time and if he was going to help us, he might as well stay. Very snarkily, he replied "then maybe you should learn to leave earlier." That was it. He had no idea what any customer is dealing with, including us. His continuing to be combative was the final straw. I did something I never do. I told him to go Fu@% himself - not one of my finest moments. He began to smart off again when my husband, who had already gotten back into the car before all this happened, because he was sick, realized his wife was being disrespected. He got out of the car and asked the A what he said. I tried to de-escelate it at that point and tried to coerce my husband back in the car. The attendant literally pumped out his chest, got between my husband and the car, and began to taunt my husband, getting progressively closer to his face. The guys manager? came out and I told her to get him back in the store as I locked my arms around my husband trying to move him back to the car. As we were leaving, he attendant then came back out and took pictures of us in our car and our license plate. At this point, I decided to go in and take his picture in case he decided to do something stupid. I wanted him to know he wasn't going to intimidate us. This saddest part was the entire situation would have never happened had he simply walked out and said. "I'm sorry. I didn't see you. Here, let me help. " I will never give this business my money again. read more

Veneta Towne Pump - The employee that was such a jerk. - Gas Stations Near Me - Veneta, Oregon

Two guys working tonight 3/17/21 and both refused to take a few minutes to fill my propane tank. The guy in the shop was a jerk, stating, "what part of no don't you understand." Will not be back for even gas. read more

I bought gas here that was old and foul and expired and yellow and had turned to turpentine. I brought the fuel back to them to show them. The young guy with the grand Torino are the pumps called me a dip shit and told me to get the fuck out of here. He told me he was going to call the cops on me and I was trespassing. He was still filling my truck with gas. I have seen this tweaker chewing his lip for the last year but today he looked very high. He got up in my face very close. No PPE, no distance. No one there had any PPE. inside or out. Their jobs are mandated by the state. Who makes sure they are following the law and sober? I've been getting all of my gas here for almost a year. Over $100 a week. Their fuel is old and foul and when you bring it up to them they throw a fit and kick you out. Worst gas station I've ever seen. Absolutely the worst. read more

I went to this gas station on May 30, 2020, to fill my truck and a gas container. Due to COVID 19 I have been allowed to pump my own gas for a while. I did not know that pumping your own gas had ended. The gas station also had signs telling customers not to top off their tank. Based on these signs, I thought it was okay. With this in mind, I pulled up to the pump and started pumping my gas. As I did, an older man came out of the store yelling at me for pumping my gas. I said that I was sorry and that I thought it was okay based on COVID 19 and the signs on the pumps. He then started to wave and jab a finger at me . At the same time yelling "don't give me that. Pumping your own gas has been over with." I then politely asked him to stop the pump so that I can take my business some where else. With anger he stopped the pump and slammed the fuel door shut on my new truck. I am new to this area and was shocked by his conduct. Perhaps I should have asked before pumping but his conduct was uncalled for. He definitely has an anger issue. read more

If I could put 0 stars, I would. I waited 12 minutes in line because the cashier didnt know how to work his own register. Another lady employee was very VERY rude. She told me she would send someone out as soon as they could. She did not. There were 4 employees on shift and they did not come help me, they kept pumping gas and ignoring me. Two gas attendants kept talking when they weren't working, instead of helping me. After 30 minutes I gave up. Horrible service, they need a lesson in manners. read more

This place has horrible customer service! We were headed out of town after a day at the dunes when we stopped to grab a couple of drinks before our two hour drive home . When we went in the man at the counter was pretty nice but when one of the guys asked to use the restroom she got an attitude . She said we are closed and so are the restrooms. He told her he would pee on the seat joking and she instantly got an attitude saying it's not the seat she is worried about it's everywhere else . I said well your not closed yet and I was told we are at 8:50 . So in three minutes, I said well I guess you can clean them again and she proceeded to tell Me I won't do that I don't get paid after nine . One I don't appreciate the way she went out of her way to make us feel like we were putting her out plus it's not my problem I'm the consumer I don't care if you don't get paid after 9 or what you do or don't what to do . And I'm sure if your the owner in a small town this isn't the girl to have representing your company. We will never return to this location and I will make sure all of our friends ho frequently go to the dunes don't stop there as well . Maybe you should rethink who your having represent your company. Ps I only gave them one star because I had to . read more

Can I give a -1? Worst costumer service ever! Called my husband names to another costumer after my husband ask for a receipt! Then when my hubby went back to ask why she called him a name she kicked him out of the store, called cops and the other employee flipped my hubby off! Police came and had a great conversation with my hubby and were very nice! Needless to say after spending $1000's of dollars in fuel over the last few months we won't be back! read more

Where's the option for zero or negative stairs?? These people have terrible attitudes most of the time. Prices are way out the roof! Some items costing more than $2 over the prices of other places in the area. Came here to get propane today at about 5:30 and I was yelled across the parking lot that propane's closed! I said when do you close the propane? She said again propane is closed with a little more attitude. I asked again what time do you close and she says five I mean four. Lo and behold there are no signs anywhere on the property that says they stopped selling propane at 4:00. Unfortunately for me, it's about 2 in of snow up at my place and I needed some propane for my warmth and for cooking my food. I guess tonight I freeze and eat cold ramen. Thanks Veneta Towne Pump!! I guess I spend the night in freezing weather eating cold ramen. Why don't we look around the website? Tell me take a screenshot anybody that can find it where does it say that they stop selling propane at 4:00. I will call this strictly laziness. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced at a gas station! Plus they didn't credit back my $36 to my card!
