Stopped in here on our way home. Had just gotten on the fwy and we were hoping for a station with easy on and off access from 80 west. We just needed water and seeds. The flavored, sunflower kind. J&L food mart at this Shell had what we needed! I tried new seeds ( jumbo hot and spicy) we got our default...ranch!! And bought chili lime for later. Plus a large water. $7.17 total was it for the 3 big seed bags. It seemed like Rachael (the cashier) had forgotten something, but the receipt proved it was all there. Rachael even offered us a cup for the seeds. That was a first! Such a nice thing to think of....but we already had one going in the car from the drive up a couple days ago. Props for her asking tho. It was super easy getting back on the fwy when we left. Convenience! I am impressed all around.

Little pricey but, for anyone traveling and needing a potty break, the bathroom was very clean! It got 5 stars just for that!

I'm traveling in my own personal vehicle leading the rest of my crew in the big rental Suburban carrying all our equipment. I know there's a Chevron right at the first exit at the bottom of Donner pass hill dropping into Truckee. Better watch you speed coming down that hill, its easy to get going way too fast! I call my guys to tell them I gotta stop, so we take the first exit and go through the round abouty thingy and the station is right there. All the chevron stations seem like they renamed the convivence stores to Power Markets. Whatever, it's still carries all the road food you need and restrooms as well. What I like about this location is it's super fast on and off the 80, easy to get back on the freeway! Service was fine, just don't get gas here unless you really have to, prices are off the charts high, like holy shit high! Restrooms were clean this time and the crew all used them as well as got some more road food. I think I can make it to the hotel now!

Pretty much have met all of the workers, they are extremely friendly and helpful. I know most of the people by first name and they all know mine. That said, there is a promotion for today. I brought my vehicle to Auto & Tire Doctor in Truckee for an oil change and tire rotation…read more After the service was completed, I spoke with Daniel at the front desk and mentioned a concern about making sure the under-body panel used during the oil service had been properly secured. During that conversation, I happened to notice that my tires did not appear to have been rotated correctly. I had requested a tire rotation, and Daniel confirmed that it had been performed. However, upon inspecting the vehicle, I could see that the passenger-side tires had been swapped front-to-back while the driver-side tires had not. I was able to identify this because the tires on my vehicle have different tread patterns, making it easy to determine whether they had been moved. When I pointed this out, Daniel initially maintained that the tire rotation had been completed. After I showed him the difference between the passenger and driver sides, I was given several explanations regarding tire placement, vehicle handling, and concerns about the condition of my tires. None of those explanations addressed the fact that one side of the vehicle had clearly not been rotated. Eventually, another employee stepped in, acknowledged that the driver-side tires may have been missed, and immediately offered to bring the vehicle back into the shop to correct the issue. I appreciated that he took responsibility and worked to resolve the situation. My concern was not the mistake itself. Mistakes happen. What I found disappointing was the response when the issue was brought to Daniel's attention. Rather than simply acknowledging the possibility of an oversight and correcting it, I felt my concerns were dismissed and met with repeated explanations that did not address the actual problem. During the interaction, Daniel also made comments about wanting to "get this lady out of here" and referred to it being "Tuesday" while discussing the situation with staff. Whether intended that way or not, the comments came across as dismissive and unprofessional, particularly while I was trying to resolve a legitimate concern regarding work that had not been completed. The tire rotation charge was removed from my bill, and the work was ultimately completed correctly. I appreciate the employee who stepped in, acknowledged the issue, and resolved it. Based on this experience, I would encourage customers to verify that all requested services have been completed before leaving and to carefully review any work performed on their vehicle. To the shop's credit, the tire rotation charge was removed from my bill, and the work was ultimately completed correctly. I appreciate the employee who stepped in, acknowledged the issue, and resolved it. Based on this experience, I would encourage customers to verify that all requested services have been completed before leaving and to carefully review any work performed on their vehicle.
