He was a tall, thin, African man with an accent. As I was leaving the store, he called out to me, came outside, called me back into the store, and asked me to open my tote bag, which I did. He took my bag of chips which was a product that their store did not carry. He returned my bag of chips and DIDN'T BOTHER TO APOLOGIZE. He told me not to come to the store again when I did absolutely NOTHING WRONG. He thought I had been stealing just because he saw me in the store 1.5 weeks earlier and just because I was walking around the store in the present store visit. Since when is it wrong to walk around a store, then leave without buying anything? On a prior visit to this store, I left the store after changing my mind about my needs. As I was leaving, the cashier called me back inside. I stayed polite but I was irked that they were bothering me when I was trying to leave and go to work. If I need your help, I will ask for it. I am leaving because I am done. So, as you can see, TWICE, I have been heckled as I left this store. Each time, by a different employee, and the second time, falsely accused of stealing. If you use this 7-11, BEWARE! You may be held up by store employees as you leave the store. A big pain in the butt when you're trying to go home or to work! Thanks for wasting my time, 7-Eleven!

The Royal Farm Store in our neighborhood closed a while back. It recently re-opened completely…read morerenovated and offering their famous Fried Chicken. They are opened every day from 5:00 AM to Midnight. We were excited to give it a try. The store is bright, well organized and well stocked. The staff really welcoming and friendly. They were offering an opening special of 8 pieces of mixed Fried Chicken (2 breasts, 2 thighs, 2 wings and 2 legs) for $12.00. So, we stopped in and picked up the special. I can't begin to tell you how disappointed we were. The chicken was really greasy and it tasted like it had been cooked in old oil. We are not so sure we will return to this Royal Farm store again for chicken. We hear the one on Seminary Avenue is so much better.

The manager on duty, who was standing there doing paperwork, acted like he was doing me a favor not charging me for the sliders when they didn't have pickle... "that's OK she hasn't made it yet so don't charge him". I handed the cashier a $20 bill for the lottery ticket. He walked over to the machine and printed the ticket, put my $20 on edge between the closest register to the lottery machine and some boxes of merchandise, went to his register and opened it, fiddled with change for a second, closed it and handed me my lottery ticket but no change. When I pointed that out he fiddled with his till again and shrugged his shoulders. I pointed to the other register, the cashier retrieved my $20 and gave me my change. The manager was watching as the incident unfolded but did not intercede. I go to Royal Farms, although not this one, frequently as I make deliveries around the city ... most have good customer service although they do seem to be lowering their standards. This is one of the really bad ones; dingy, small with a very few choices and very poor customer service.

I am the type of person that if you tell me something I am not going to sit and go back and forth with you about it. I will just say never mind. For whatever reason the coupon was not working and cashier called the manager. Long story short the cashier basically just had a nasty disposition. The manager assisted as much as he could and I still was not able to make the purchase and that was fine with me. It was just the purpose of how the cashier displayed that the job was not even important to her. I don't expect any special treatment but, we all should be blessed to have whatever job we have. Jobs are just too hard to come by these days.
