This is a no-frills, semi-old school type of filling station that happens to have upgraded pumps. It's a laid-back, easy-peasy type of place! It is easy to get into, but can be hit or miss getting out of with the traffic, the turning lane, and where you want to go if you want to continue on Ponce de Leon. You may want to take Marion St. to S. Dixie Hwy to get back on your way.

The store is spotless, well-organized, and surprisingly easy to navigate despite its size. The real stars, though, are the food. The brisket sandwich is absolutely worth the hype--fresh, tender, smoky, and piled high. Don't leave without grabbing some of their fresh jerky, either. With so many flavors to choose from, it's easy to find a favorite. And then there are the bathrooms. I know it sounds strange to rave about a restroom, but Buc-ee's truly deserves the recognition. They are, without question, the cleanest public bathrooms I've ever used while traveling. That alone makes Buc-ee's a must-stop on any road trip. OK...it's a gas station! What can I add or say I wonder?!?! Well, this is the cleanest gas…read morestation and convenience store you'll ever go into. Plus, the staff is always super friendly and understanding. We like to come here for grocery type items in addition to getting gas. But what we really like is the car wash. However, the dang thing likes to act up a lot and/or not give you what you paid for. That is not a reason to mark down any stars...why? Well, if you just let the staff know they'll give you your money back or another car wash. I love it when you find a place with no hassles and has everything you need. Woot! On an ending note, the location is awesome on US 1 and near the Nocatee turn off.
