After putting $20 bucks into the machine, I headed into the market for something close to drink. To my chagrin, I did not find the cold drinks I wanted to be cold. Looking through drink after drink, I finally found the apple juice to be nice and cold. It was the best two $2.00 I spent at that moment. The cashier was friendly, but it looked like he would rather be somewhere else on a nice hot day like this. If the store has been selling a lot of drinks today, cool. I can understand why all the drink I came across were warm. If the refrigerators for the drinks are malfunctioning, get them fixed. Aside from that, my experience here was good.

My family has been taking their vehicles to Randy at the Amerigo on both Telegraph Rd and Franconia…read moreRd for more than a decade. We have always had excellent service. I am shocked at the review that gave them only one star because we have always found them to be honest, fair and efficient. They are not a quickie service place because their interest is in doing things correctly. It may not always be the cheapest place to have the work done but we know the work will be done correctly. We strongly disagree with the other reviewer who claims that Randy is not easy to communicate with or that he does not stand behind his work. That's just plain horse hockey. If anything, Randy is VERY direct and does not sugar coat what needs to be done. It may not be what you want to hear, but he is open and honest about what needs to be done and in the manner in which it needs to be done. If one follows his suggestions, he has always stood behind his work. We highly recommend this Amerigo and the other one on Telegraph Road. There are so many mechanics that are just out to make a buck. Randy and his folks at the Amerigos work very hard to make sure their work is accurate and thorough. We don't trust our cars to ANYONE else.

I will never return to this shop. While the office staff were incredibly professional and kind, the…read moreactual service management in the garage was a complete disaster. I came in for engine oil change. The office staff told me the wait would be 30 minutes and I would be next. I bought a cold soda and waited patiently in my car. After 40 minutes of silence, I got out to check, only to find a different car already in the bay. When I questioned the office, they confirmed that the spot should have been mine. The mechanic then told me I would be next after this 10-minute job. However, as I was preparing to pull my car behind his, another vehicle cut in and took the spot right in front of me. I waited for another 30 minutes in the 90°F heat. Even with my AC running, sitting under the blazing sun for over an hour made me physically ill--my face was flushed and swollen from the heat exhaustion. Seeing the mechanic chatting and laughing with the person who cut the line, while I had been ignored for over an hour, was the final straw. In 2026, one would think "first come, first served" is a basic human principle, but apparently not here. To anyone who values their time and expects to be treated with basic respect: Avoid this place. P.S. A huge thank you to the office staff who were genuinely helpful and nice. It is a shame that the lack of professional ethics in the service bay ruined the hard work you do. I won't be back.
