This is simply for pumping gas and the convenience of it. I have not gone inside the location, but my husband goes very often to get some random drink or snacks. It is right down the hill from us so it's easy and the lot is wide with lots of space Between the pumps. He was sad that they never brought back the coffee machine. We do get our propane gas from here from time to time. They also have a tire pumping station but I don't know if it's always working. Sometimes there's no printer paper for the receipt but I find that at every other gas station I go to. The gas is pricier than other locations. read more

Shell has a large gas dispensing area. the convenience store is tiny. just snacks, beverage, lotto tics. no booze. there's limited parking available. the coffee machine wasn't working, only cold water available. air costs $1.50 read more

Would not recommend this location. They over charged me for single water bottle. After I got charged I noticed it was too much. I asked for a receipt and he quickly tried to say that someone before me had gotten a soda and they ran off. They offered to give me cash back for it but never gave me a receipt. It was obvious that they intentionally overcharged me and expected me to not notice. read more

I stopped here today for air.  I'd  used this air pump on many occasions. Six quarters and no compressor sound.  I looked up at the very top of the pump and saw the "Out of Order" sign.  Fine.   I approached the attendant and explained I hadn't seen the sign initially.  She said, "I can only give you a dollar."  When I balked, she asked how many quarters I had used (clearly she didn't  know the price of air--$1.50--and implied I WAS IGNORANT for feeding in excessive change).  She tossed six quarters carelessly my way and told me for the second time I should have read the sign.   I went back to the pump and moved the Out of Order sign so that it covered the coin slot to prevent others from repeating my stupid mistake.  If management is interested in improving customer service, this happened about 12:15pm 8/3/16 and the employee was a slight, Asian woman, probably early twenties.  In closing, her attitude was arrogant and condescending.   When I told a housemate my experience, she said  she'd  dealt with the same clerk a few weeks back, and the folks in line were visibly dissatisfied with the slow, rude service.   Then again my expectations of service at a service station  are probably out of whack. Sure, it's close to the freeway, but it seems to consistently be at least 50 cents more than any other station in town. Is it because their gas is just that good, or because they have a monopoly and you think you have no other options? read more

I am a huge fan of the layout of the grounds and the suprior landscaping of this palace away from home. Freaks and oddballs come and go at all hours, many of whom seem dangerous. I think here often, staring into the neighborhoods of piedmont. Gummi worms have been eaten here, also, and i experience varied emotional experiences whilst standing on the concrete with a vague sense that i am coming to end slowly. Creativity strikes me at times with a nose full of 87 octane and life continues onward despite my concerns. read more

Not a lot going on in this area as you approach the freeway On the way eastbound we had to get some fuel before taking off to the mountains. Bit on the expensive side and seems semi sketchy, If you need fuel it's open late but get in and get out! read more

A very standard gas station -- I guess you can get gas. However, most people also expect that if you have a mini mart you would have change. They had none--not even for the $20 dollars that I had just withdrawn from their cash machine. Also, there's no bathroom. The surrounding neighborhood seems nice. But one wouldn't think so with this gas station with a completely useless attendant behind a thick glass with no restroom. There were probably more welcoming gas stations in war torn Beirut in the 1980s. read more

I never thought that I would be a fan of a gas station (I really despise the 66 & 76 brands) but this Shell holds a soft spot in my heart. Mainly because when I look out my bedroom window to the twinkling lights of the Oakland and Berkeley Hills, I can see the Shell Station. Gas prices are ok and you can usually pull up and fill up. Not the cheapest place to fuel up, but not the priciest either. Property is looked after too. Convenient location for unloading (CLEAN) unwanted clothes and shoes. read more

I know gas stations are not very inspiring places, but this one is distinctly boring, and above average in price. I've never been into the actual store. The glass is smashed on some of the pumps, although doesn't affect function. The highlight of this gas station is probably the (non charity) clothes donation box, which I've put many items into. read more

Worst place ever.... prices are high and the don't let diabetic or cancer patients use the restroom. Horrible people & management. Don't go, other places are like a min or 2 away.... drive away if you are here or coming here read more

This was my go-to gas station until tonight, when my car broke down just as I pulled in and I ended up waiting there (out of the way) for more than three hours to be towed. The heartless attendant wouldn't let me use the restroom. Also the gas is overpriced. read more

I'm gonna give this Shell a 5-star. Plus I don't feel claustrophobic whenever I pull up near an aisle, as it has a very wide-body feel to the station. read more

Put a fiver to get to Costco, which I do easily with any other gas station, when I left this station I was still in the red and had to stop in Emeryville. They literally give you 0 fuel for your money. read more

Fuck the shop I buyed peanuts and when I opened it smell bad i returned the packet he is saying Expire date is there. Fuck the shopkeeper and I recommend to don't go to this shop and gas station. read more
