This place is hidden and far far away from where I live haha but it was cute, quaint, clean and comforting. I had the California club sandwich. It came with a side of fries. Over time Ed has consistently improved the place and its atmosphere!!! Have to say at one point I would have highly recommend this place . But the past couple of times that my girlfriend and myself were there the food was mediocre at best!!! Medium wings were way hotter than medium buffalo and the pizza was on the edge of burnt!!! Good place to stop on the bike or snowmobile. They did a beautiful job on marking the dining area addition and a great job in building a better menu. The food was okay, kind of you pub and typical Bar food which is hard to mess up, but my burger was very good. My gf got the quesadilla which she said was ok but very spicy. I would of liked to see all our mozzarella sticks to have cheese in them as well. They need more people to wait on tables because it took us an hour and a half to finish our dinner and a very long time to receive more drink orders. Other than that if your in the neighborhood, the shell is a good place to stop and eat for a bite but if your looking for something fancy this may not be the place. read more

Excellent chicken fried steak. Good beer. Nice people. Well worth the 45 minute trip.

Four of us went to Shell Inn for dinner . The wait was long for a soup , two sandwiches , burger and nachos . The food was terrible one person had sweet potato fries they were burnt . Sandwiches not a club sandwich it was cut in half about 4 inched high . Ham was grilled turkey was grilled onion cut to thick . Nachos not made correctly . Burger was o.k .soup was good . Cole slaw was awful couldn't eat it filled with chopped onions. We live in the area but will never again go there. Thanks read more

2.0 star rating Decent food when it's on point, but terribly overpriced and have been sorely disappointed with the last few orders placed. There is absolutely no consistency. I don't care how good your chicken tenders are, for $7 I expect more than three. read more
