Additional work done included spark plug change and oil change. JA Autowerks is about 100 miles from me. But after speaking with the crew there I knew it was the right place for my 2016 Audi RS7. From the moment I called them for a quote until I picked up the car, communication was spot on. Even with a bunch of people out sick, John the owner called me and met me when I dropped the car off. A few days later I was promptly contacted about the price of some additional items and gave the okay for the work. I didn't get to meet Jason, the tech who worked on my car, but I can tell from the craftsmanship he knew what he was doing. I'm meticulous when it comes how I work on my car, and it looks like Jason is also. Since I was so far, Nick took time out of his DAY OFF to meet me to pick up the car. Will I drive 200 miles round trip again for work on my Audi RS7? You're damn right.

I didn't have the tools to remove the seat so I called alternative care before my dad would become distressed. I was instructed to bring the car in after 1 pm and they would have a look. I called Mavis when they first opened in the morning, and they told me I could bring my car in to have the tires checked out. I arrived just after 9 AM but sat waiting for hours to see what they found. At 11:30 AM, I saw that my car had not yet moved, and they had not even looked at it. I asked the manager what happened that they had not even looked at it yet, even though I spent the entire morning in their waiting room that featured an out-of-order sign on their bathroom. The manager asked me to leave since they were unable to get to my car in a timely fashion. If they were having problems, they should have let me know. After Tom stated that he would not service my 91' gti because he only services late models I was…read morehesitant to bring my 2008 gti to SOB but after failing inspection, for coolant and fuel pressure codes I chose SOB over the dealership or another shop. During service Tom indicated that he was not going to service the fuel system. First saying there was a recall then that he would discuss the issue with a VW tech and get nack to me. Following this conversation, I got no response. If I had known that there were certain services that he would not or could not perform, there is no way I would have brought my car there. When I reached out, Tom recommended that I bring it to a local dealership after I pick it up... Finding a trustworthy mechanic not to mention a VW specialist isn't easy and unfortunately this is one shop I won't use again and I can't recommend! One final note, the invoice I received listed the costs for labor and parts combined which makes charges hard to dicifer.
