So in other words, I was supposed to know, when my car couldn't be jumped, that I was supposed to go on the website to learn that the two-year warranty is only good if you have your car towed and then leave it there to have them check it out. So apparently Mavis can sell bad batteries and place an onerous burden on the consumer and have us throw away our money. The manager said he's just telling me with the company policy is. It was 4:15 p.m. on Thursday evening when traffic was heavy, and the Tire owner, Elon Berkowitz, was busy working on replacing heavy-duty truck tires. There was another mechanic working on a vehicle on the lift in one of the bays. I thought I was going to get stuck waiting for an attendant to ask me what I needed. Fortunately, when Elon Berkowitz saw me, he stopped what he was doing and asked me what I needed. I explained that I had a screw in the tire and it was leaking air. Mr. Berkowitz said I need a few more minutes to finish this task, and then I will address your needs. I said thank you and sat on a bench in front of the establishment. After 10 minutes, Mr. Berkowitz came over and began working on my wife's car. 10 minutes later, he repaired the leaking tire. I was so very pleased at the great customer service i was given that I could not thank him enough. What a wonderful businessman, dedicated to his business with outstanding customer service and a smile. I sincerely wanted to thank him over and over again.
