With that said, the place is a little sketchy. I've been a few times and sometimes the card scanner on some of the pumps won't work and there always seems to be people just lurking around for no good reason. Also, the little "latch" on the pumps, that you hook so that your gas pumps without having to hold it, doesn't work on any of the pumps I've tried, so be warned if touching all over a gas pump is an issue for you. I've never had any of the food, but they have fried chicken if that's your thing.

I said to the cook, "La Cena es grande" - which she appreciated. (There is a very strong Spanish influence around here - and we are headed for Texas and Mexico - and I am working with my Duolingo Spanish app.) I heard a very impressive conversation between the Middle Eastern owner and a black guy who seems to be a business partner of his. There was not a squeegee or water at my pump. Otherwise, a really good operation. I would come back in a second.

The customers are also very friendly. This is the first RaceTrac that I've been to that had whipped cream (!) as a coffee topping. Also, there was some sort of deal that I got- pleasant surprise. So when I got my sausage, egg, and cheese croissant, the combo of it and my small coffee came out to $4. Love that! If you didn't know, RaceTrac offers at least 3-4 coffee bean options that they grind on the spot. There are refrigerated creamers, including Silk Almond milk, of different flavors. And they appear to always be running a combo deal of some sort.
