If you travel a lot I highly recommend joining their Flying J point program and downloading their app because you always get all sorts of freebies. Anyhow! This specific location has a Dennis inside the store, as well as a Dunkin' Express for those coffee fanatics out there. They also have a FedEx drop-off box location on the right hand side of the building. When visiting keep in mind that they do have two separate entrances for car and truck. On the drive to College Station we sometimes take the back roads, and when you're just about to cross Interstate 10 in the middle of nowhere, you'll find this gas station which I thought would mean that they would have really cheap gas, but to be perfectly honest it was more expensive than the cheaper places down the road in Katy, and also more expensive than Buc-ee's. So I don't think there's anything really special about this gas station, except if you're about to run out of gas in the middle of nowhere about 10 miles west of Katy, then you'll be glad that it's here, and the convenience store of course is overpriced, but what do you expect from a Chevron.

HMMMMM.... wait, that doesn't make much sense. Let me get this straight, if the product is defective and broke on first use, how would it ever be resellable? BUuuuuuut if I did have a receipt, suddenly the broken leash is acceptable for exchange? The logic just didn't add up. Miah then insisted on stressing "store policy" and that she could lose her job for making an exception. But isn't store policy to satisfy your customers and provide them with an experience that makes them want to return. That's hard to believe that taking care of a customer over a clearly defective $20 item would be a fireable offense. Come on guys, where is the use of basic common sense. The most disappointing is that I've been a loyal Buc-ee's customer. Every year before visiting family overseas, we spend $100's of dollars on Buc-ee's merchandise, snacks, and gifts to take with us. It's been a tradition, one that ended today. Completely shocked that a company valued at over $2 Billion would choose to stand firm over a $20 defective leash. How about you guys do a better job training management to handle situations like this with a little flexibility and customer-first thinking vs. scaring them into losing their jobs, which loses customers! I went back inside to ask for an itemized receipt and it rest that that the Pacifico came out to $25.99. That equates to $2.17 per beer. I asked to return everything and they told me the policy states they can't return alcohol nor nicotine products. I won't be shopping at this scam store anymore and I hope you won't either. Gas is competitively priced because there are gas stations on both sides of the interstate, and it is major brand gas, Exxon. There is a hot food place inside that seemingly serves fried chicken, various Mexican food staples, as well as donuts. None of this, to me, warrants this place getting a fourth star. I will eventually try that stuff, but for now, it held no importance to my soul! What made me give this place a fourth star? This slightly dingy convenient store did something special to earn this extra star? Yes they did. Lo and Behold, when walking through the front door, if you make a right turn, and go to the drink refrigerator all the way to the back...and view the drinks...there is love in the cooler. At first you will not see it. Those international brands have a way of making sure they get top billing and shelving. Look at the bottom of the refrigeration unit...magic happens...they sale Big Shot cold drink (Soda, cola, soft drink, insert your term here.)! Why is that important you may ask? Well, being a NOLA native, and considering that is a drink that is made in New Orleans, sometimes you just need a taste of home to get you by in the new land! I wish they had it in the 2 liter variety, but I will settle for 24 ounces love, $1 at a time! Multiple flavors of tongue love made a fat man happy! This alone will allow this place a forth star.
