They have a wonderful selection. And they are the only place I know that correctly calls "sausage kolaches" as their real name--Klobásník--or Klobásníky (plural.) but don't expect those to still be there. On a weekday, they might still have these Czech treats until 3 pm, but on the weekends, they go fast! Always friendly staff and i just love looking through their home decor. They have the cutest little tchotchkes that are locally crafted and so wonderful for home, garden, or lawn. I have bought many a christmas and birthday gift on the way. Great metal art as well! The bathrooms are always clean and smell fine. I highly recommend stopping at least one time to see everything they have to offer. It's a true, "small Texas town" stop! Oh, and set the GPS! Idk what the craze is about this place, but IYKYK. We are finally getting one out here in Arizona, and it will open in Goodyear on June 22. Be that as it may, I won't be going until probably fall, lol. I'll most likely be making another trip to TX before then anyway. This location is large and fully stocked. The same classic Buc-cee's you know is full of everything from housewares to clothing, car accessories to freshly made brisket sandwiches ans everything in-between! Service was great, and the cashier was friendly. I didn't get a sandwich this time around, but I did grab a few bags of beef jerky. They're my new favorite snackie! I went back to the store looking for an exchange, not even a refund, and that's where things got super weird and frustrating. I was told by the Manager Miah that without a receipt, nothing could be done. But, in the same conversation, she told me the item would also need to be in "resellable condition." .... HMMMMM.... wait, that doesn't make much sense. Let me get this straight, if the product is defective and broke on first use, how would it ever be resellable? BUuuuuuut if I did have a receipt, suddenly the broken leash is acceptable for exchange? The logic just didn't add up. Miah then insisted on stressing "store policy" and that she could lose her job for making an exception. But isn't store policy to satisfy your customers and provide them with an experience that makes them want to return. That's hard to believe that taking care of a customer over a clearly defective $20 item would be a fireable offense. Come on guys, where is the use of basic common sense. The most disappointing is that I've been a loyal Buc-ee's customer. Every year before visiting family overseas, we spend $100's of dollars on Buc-ee's merchandise, snacks, and gifts to take with us. It's been a tradition, one that ended today. Completely shocked that a company valued at over $2 Billion would choose to stand firm over a $20 defective leash. How about you guys do a better job training management to handle situations like this with a little flexibility and customer-first thinking vs. scaring them into losing their jobs, which loses customers! Great Flying J Travel Center when driving to and from Houston!…read more This location is about an hour out of downtown Houston and has amazing gas prices. If you travel a lot I highly recommend joining their Flying J point program and downloading their app because you always get all sorts of freebies. Anyhow! This specific location has a Dennis inside the store, as well as a Dunkin' Express for those coffee fanatics out there. They also have a FedEx drop-off box location on the right hand side of the building. When visiting keep in mind that they do have two separate entrances for car and truck. Last but not least, their bathroom are always super clean. Thank you Flying J Travel Center for the amazing service and great gas prices!

This is a rural Chevron, a few miles out of the edge of the Houston area, right off of Interstate 10. I've used it on a couple of occasions when taking the back roads to College Station. Inside, they had a dunk in donuts and other places but I decided to go with a protein bar and regular coffee. The inside was clean and well kept and the prices were reasonable (not crazy high like some gas stations). Most of the inside stores (aside from Dunkin) we're closed which was a bit disappointing but not a big deal.
