Typical local gas station. They seem to be fully stocked maybe to accommodate the local hotels/motels. --Service/Staff-- I didn't interact with any of the staff because I used my CC in purchasing gas at the pump. --Products-- I stick with my usual gas --Capacity-- Capacity to hold 10-12 cars to fill up. --Overall-- Local gas station. I had an unacceptable experience at this Shell gas station. The pump I was using was clearly malfunctioning, so I politely asked to move to another pump. Instead of assisting me, the manager immediately became hostile and yelled at me. Rather than investigating the issue, the manager blamed me, claiming that talking on my cell phone was somehow causing the pump to malfunction. He repeatedly insisted that the station had "passed all inspections," as if that automatically meant the pump couldn't be experiencing a problem. Passing an inspection does not guarantee that equipment cannot fail or malfunction at a later time. What was most concerning was the manager's behavior. Instead of listening to a customer who was reporting a possible equipment issue, he chose to raise his voice, dismiss my concerns, and treat me with disrespect. No customer should be yelled at for simply asking to use a different pump when they believe the one they are using is not functioning properly. This experience demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism and customer service. I hope Shell investigates both the condition of the pumps at this location and the conduct of the manager. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, not blamed or intimidated for reporting a potential problem. read more

It's a shame that this gas station is the most convenient to my home, because I am 3 for 3 when it comes to having unpleasant experiences here. Today, it got to the point that I knew internalizing my frustration was helping no one, and it was time to take to Yelp. The first two times, I had perfectly good cards (one credit - not maxed out, and one debit - plenty in the account) rejected when trying to pay at the pump because of "fraud alerts." Note that I used these cards minutes later on both days at different stations. I don't know if this station simply gets a lot of fraud or what, but I've never had so much trouble trying to pay for gas with valid forms of payment. Today was the worst, though. Like many people, I participate in the Kroger fuel rewards program. Kroger is currently offering an awesome "4x fuel points" promotion on gift cards, so today I loaded up on gift cards to use as Christmas presents and also to cover my own expenses at places where I know I'll be spending money this month. May as well rack up some fuel points, right? So I picked up a $100 Shell card, figuring I would stop and get some gas at a place that accepts Kroger points and avoid the weird "we don't accept perfectly good plastic" issue that plagues this station. Not so fast there, Swifty. I go over to Shell with a balance of 1,046 points thanks to the 4x points promo. I am therefore expecting to get a dollar off per gallon, which will be sweet. At this Shell, unlike all other Shells I have been to, you can't just swipe the Kroger rewards card at the pump. You have to go inside and have the attendant swipe your card and tell you what you're entitled to get. So the guy swipes my card and tells me I'm entitled to $0.10 off per gallon, not a dollar. And I am cool about it. I mention, "Well, I just spent that money. I guess the points will be available to use until tomorrow or something." And that's fine, I will just get the discount the next time I fill up, which will be in about a week or so. No problem. But the guy starts getting upset and arguing with me that a thousand points equals $.10 off per gallon, not a dollar. Again, there was no reason to argue whatsoever. He just wanted to. I explained that no, every 100 points is $.10, maximum redemption $1 per gallon. He insists that I am crazy, that they don't give anybody $1/gallon off. He runs a gas station - why doesn't he understand the most popular fuel rewards program in the country? Certainly, he has seen people with discounts over $0.10/gallon before. Anyway, in the future I'll drive a couple of extra miles out of the way to avoid this station. It's just way more complicated than buying gas needs to be. read more

Just came in and bought two bottles of wine. A 1.5 L of Sutter Home for 11.99 and a 750 ml of Sutter Home White Zinfandel for 6.99 which is listed on many store signs. I asked for my receipt and it showed I was charged 7.99. I went back into the store to tell the clerk he over charged me. I didn't care how much the overcharge was for it was the principle. I felt it was false advertisement and that he may have been lying and overcharging many people that come buy in store. If you overcharge 100 people a dollar that can add up. The clerk said out of all 10 signs that were clearly posted that say the Sutter Home costs 6.99 that it was the venders fault that the sign didn't say 7.99. He told me that I could return the whole bottle then proceeded to toss a dollar at me. Then he told me to get out after tossing the dollar back and told him it wasn't the money but the principle that you are getting over on people. I will NEVER return to this store EVER. Check your receipt if you go here. And they are selling cheap Woodbridge wine for 15.99. So this tells you what a rip off they are. read more

I go to this shell only when I'm really low in gas leaving work, since it is really close by and easy to access with 3 entrances. Pros: Friendly employees Clean gas station Decent speed pumps Cons: Charges more for credit card transactions Sometimes out of certain grades of gas The charging more for credit card is my only real problem, because nut everyone wants to type in their pin number when they have to use their debit card. read more

I come here for my cigarettes, as it is the most convenient though that is all I usually stop in for. Their drink selection is lacking and they don't have the greatest selection of snacks. This place, otherwise, has friendly employees and fast service. I do not recommend their dated car wash. read more

Highest prices in a 10 mile radius. Come here because it is conveniently located near my apartment. Have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars here since I have lived here in the last year. Gas station clerk today told me to leave because I spent $9 in cash and $2 in change. He said he will not accept my change (mostly quarters) because he doesn't want to count it and told me to leave. Honestly think that is the dumbest thing on the planet. Hope they go out of business because people don't want to pay 30% more when QT in a 4 min drive away. read more

This is the worst manned and maintained gas station I have ever been to and it's also unfortunately the one closest to home. Half of the pumps don't work and are never repaired. I have literally left in frustration several times and gone to another station after wasting time here and being unable to buy gas. Go a mile either way to another station and save yourself some frustration. read more
