I'd blown it off before but felt like I owed him the courtesy of trying it. Somehow food prep--no matter how fast--and petrochemicals just don't seem to mix. But ya' know it *was* lunchtime, and, we needed to fill up the auto. Oh, and it was National Samdwoch Day. So we stopped.... ....and we're glad we did. You can order your 'steak however you like it. I went for the original style to attempt a comparison to Pat's and Gino's. In Philly speak, that's "Wiz wit"....cheese sauce (aka CheezWhiz) and onions. The sandwich was dang good. As were the fries. They've got one of those wicked potato guillotines like In-N-Out uses. In a head to head comparison they might actually beat the vaunted West Coast icon in a fry-off. The place was clean and had a homey feel....as homey as you can get beside an interstate. Five stars for being as good as a roadside restaurant can be. I always look forward to my trips to Nash, and now I've got another reason.

This 7 Eleven is just a few years old and is kept in great condition, and is clean for a gas station. In addition to all the basics, this location is also outfitted with a Laredo Taco and Roost Chicken. Both provide solid options to the honey bun and pork skins I am accustomed to picking up on road trips! Gas prices were solid compared to the area. Overall, solid gas station that I certainly will visit again!

They have good hot dogs with lots of fresh condiments available . Sometimes the hot dogs are not hot enough. They need to turn the warmers up. Additionally, they have a nice array of fro-yo treats with generous spread of toppings to decorate your treat. But by far my fave find are the Cajun boiled peanuts (the have plain as well). They are piping hot.

Coming back from a camping trip, my tire pressure light went on and I was quickly losing air…read morepressure in one of my tires. I was able to make it to a gas station and called my insurance company for roadside assistance. I expected to wait about 45 minutes to an hour for help (what I have typically experienced) BUT I was so surprised when he showed up within 5-10 minutes. He was incredibly helpful and tried to plug the hole (but the hole proved to be too big - not his fault). So he tried to set up the spare tire but something was wrong with the spare, and he didn't feel comfortable putting it on because he didn't feel it was safe, especially with kids in the car. So he helped put air back the original tire and told me where I could get a new tire just a few minutes away, and said the tire would make it to where I needed to go. He was so helpful and I appreciated all his help (he didn't charge me extra for trying to plug the tire, which was a big deal since I am single mom). He made a stressful situation so much better, and I highly recommend this company!
