Petro-Canada - Car wash and sign

After lunch, I realized that my car's gas tank was running low. I knew that it wouldn't get me…read morehome. I did a search for a gas station and found this one close by. I drove over. This gas station looked huge from across the street. There was no one pumping gas. Well, I was about to change that situation! I pulled in and parked next to a pump closest to the convenience store. There was a woman behind the counter. I swear that I bring business to places. When I got out of my car with my Petro-Points, 407 ETR discount, and credit cards, there were four other cars at gas pumps. I paid at the gas pump. It was seamless. I started pumping gas into my car. I like that there was that silver stand where you can continue pumping gas hands-free. I went to use the squeegee on my back windshield. After my fuel transaction had completed, I wanted to check the convenience store out. It's small, but it has everything that I enjoy looking at. Candy? Check. Phone accessories? Yes. Popsicles? Definitely. Pop? For sure! I noticed clear Mountain Dew in the beverages fridge. I'm not a Mountain Dew consumer. If you do want a caffeine hit, this drink is for you. Instead, I got two bottles of cherry Diet Coke. I like a good deal and I needed a drink. The woman was friendly. She asked if I wanted a bag. Nah, I was good. I got more Petro-Points with this transaction. I'm glad that I dropped by. The gas station is clean. I'm not normally in this part of Ajax. When I am and need fuel for my car in future, I'll stop here. (428)

7-Eleven - Japanese-style egg sandwich oozing with filling

Tips: - Collect 7Rewards towards free food and drinks…read more - I found Japanese-style egg sandwiches here. - This store is a part of a Petro-Canada gas station. I was pleased to fuel at a Petro-Canada gas station on Saturday. Its convenience store is this 7-Eleven. I don't frequent 7-Eleven stores often. It's mainly because there aren't many in Toronto. Markham doesn't have any. I have to venture out to either Vaughan or Pickering to find one. On my way home from work, there are two 7-Eleven stores that I can drop by. Sadly, they both didn't have Japanese-style egg sandwiches when I was last on a quest to get one. They were introduced recently and I wanted to get a sandwich to enjoy. I walked into this store after fuelling my car and paying for gas at the pump. I wanted to check it out. I saw frozen treats in a long fridge. The 7-Select churro cookie ice cream sandwich caught my attention. It sounded amazing and deadly! I was mesmerized by the fresh fruit next to baked goods. It's nice to have options, whether you feel like crunching on an apple or getting an apple fritter. It seemed like a mirage seeing many Japanese-style egg sandwiches above the subs and wraps. They were real. I picked one up and headed to the counter, beaming that I got an elusive egg sandwich. I got a cheerful woman who scanned my sandwich. She asked me if I had 7Rewards. I did. I pulled up the barcode from my 7-Eleven app and had it scanned. Done! I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. I thanked her and left with my sandwich. I had the sandwich at home. The crusts were cut off. The filling was generous. It was yummy, but I felt that it was missing something. Maybe it's because I make fancy egg salad at home with green onions. It would taste even better with them. The filling did use kewpie mayo as the binder, so it was creamy. It's a decent snack if you don't feel like pizza or wings. This store has a Scotiabank ABM if you need cash. I loved dropping by this store. I hope to revisit it when I'm back in this part of Pickering. (193)
