My FH was messured for his vest we decided we would pay for everyone's vests and ties. We were told that the only way we could pay for the vests is to purchase gift cards for the vests because everyone still needed to be measured. we were fine with that we were told we could just leave the gift cards at the store and when they came in they could use them. My brother went in a couple weeks later to get measured. While he was there they made us aware that the were out of the material we had originally picked out. we told them to go ahead and measure him and we would be in when we could to pick something different. A few weeks after that we made it there to pick out new material and to have our 2 boys measured for their vests, and pick up my FH vest. While there we were told the fabric was back in stock! well then we were told that when they got my brothers measurements they took the wrong ones? Not sure how that even happens. We were also told that they couldn't make the vests in our boys size after we were already told when we asked the first day that because they are being custom made they can be made in any size. They then told us they could rent us vests for the boys free of charge the problem with this is the child size vests don't have a back and the fact that the guys aren't wearing jackets over them it would look redicouls! we decided to find the boys vests elsewhere and go ahead with the men. We then called the best man and told him to make sure to get in right away to get measured so everything could get ordered he went that same weekend got measured. Then everything was closed down and I cannot get ahold of anyone about the order if his was ever ordered how my brother is supposed to be remeasured. My wedding is in 78 days they already have my money. I am so upset that I can't get some kind of communication from them.

I've always enjoyed supporting local businesses, but my experiences at Culture Shock were deeply…read moredisappointing, and I would advise others to avoid it. The owner, especially the gentleman with dreads, came across as insincere and unprofessional during both of my interactions. I brought in a crate of valuable hip hop records to sell, as I needed to cover a last-minute bill because I was the sole caregiver for my grandmother that had dementia, so her hospital bills were stacking up. I explained this to him, and I shouldn't have, but I didn't think he would take advantage of my situation. Despite showing the clear worth of my records--including a sealed original "Marshall Mathers LP" valued at over $200--the owner offered just $300 for over 50 albums of similar value. As a collector with over 20 years of experience, I knew this was a shockingly low offer. Needing the money and with other stores closed, I reluctantly accepted, but I felt completely ripped off. Later, the owner came to my home to view more records. He spent two hours carelessly disorganizing my collection, then made another unreasonably low offer. When I declined, he became aggressive, raising his voice and accusing me of wasting his time. His unprofessional conduct in my own home was appalling. I captured the entire incident on camera and seriously considered posting it, as his behavior crossed every line of respect and professionalism. Ultimately, he offered just $230. The next day, I sold the same records to Toad Hall for $1,400--over six times what Culture Shock had offered. This stark difference shows just how unfair their pricing is -- both buying and selling. While the owner's wife seemed polite, the owner (Skyler) behavior was entirely unacceptable. He clearly only values customers willing to accept unfair deals, and without his wife, I doubt this business would survive. After spending thousands of dollars here over the years, I can confidently say I will never return. If you value fair treatment and professionalism, take your business elsewhere. Toad Hall treated both me and my records with care and offered fair prices and they sell for reasonable prices as well and have a much better collection -- something I did not experience at Culture Shock.

You have a section that says 13 and up, but you should change it to 13 and below, because you NEVER cater to big sized shoes anymore. I remember at one point I bought 3 pairs of shoes. It's not just this location, this is the location in my city of La Crosse, WI as well! I used to love this store and company, but anymore I'm not excited at all. This particular location was the location that I night the 3 pairs of shoes about 4 years ago! Such a shame! I hope you can do better!! I did get 3 shirts for my job, but other than that, I'm not impressed at all!

I had heard that Ross had some good deals, like another discount and markdown department store in the area. They haven't been open too long and you could tell they were still working out some of the kinks. The store was a little bit disheveled. The men's jeans are on a rack next to the luggage section. Luggage was spilled over into the aisle blocking the way. Clothes were mixed in to different areas like someone picked up a large shirt and decided they didn't want and placed it in the small section. I believe that all of that is a result of the clientele and not the staff. When we were there they had staff going through the aisles trying to straighten, it's just hard. The store is organized into its various departments. It's not as well marked as other stores, but if you pay attention to the signs you can find what you are looking for and sizes rather easily. The dressing rooms where clean and the attendant was extremely helpful. They were a little slow in the checkout aisle. We stood there in a line for a long time while two staffers and a security guy where sorting clothes that either people decided not to buy or they found in the wrong areas. After about 10 minutes they opened up a second register. The prices were right. If the tags with the suggested retail price are correct, I bought a pair of jeans for $20.00 that normally cost $60.00. If you are looking to buy some designer clothes and are on a budget, it doesn't hurt to check them out. Also if they don't have something one day, come back later in the week, they get new shipments in all the time.
