They're decently priced and there's a variety of styles, so if I don't want to go with a plain skin tight one, I can always find ones with sparkle or layers to them. Their cover ups are so cute too! They have shawls and fluffy vests to pair nicely with what you're wearing. They also have a small jewelry section, but their earrings can pretty much match with anything there. Beware the glitter dresses though, because they shed like crazy, even after using hairspray. Those only last me a couple wears because they leave a glitter trail on everything and then the dress gets like a bald spot. Hah.

It was close to Christmas so I decided if I found something it would be great for a gift. I barely got noticed in the store and when I finally chose something I went to checkout. The woman was pregnant she made no acknowledgment of me, she put the merch in a box not giving me a bag and shoved the box toward me no thank you, come back and see us nothing. I walked out thought about how rude she was to and wish that I had declined the merchandise. I could tell I was not welcome there and every time I see the commercial I have a bad feeling. I love specialty shops but that one shop I will never shop in again. I felt discriminated against and it didn't matter whether I could afford it or not. I have experienced such negativity from a merchant in some time.

Maybe I'm just remembering the exceptional service (not to mention the Frango Mints) of this store's "hey-day" as Fields, but the customer service in the Rockford Macy's is pretty low-class. Never enough clerks, and the ones I've run into are over-extended, unprofessional, and rude. I miss the old Marshall Field's tradition of wonderful service provided by well-trained, cheerful, and always helpful staff that had worked at the store for many years. So very sad. Leave it to Macy's to swallow up yet another great old retail icon. I won't bother with this store again when Bergner's is in the same Mall!!

You have a section that says 13 and up, but you should change it to 13 and below, because you NEVER cater to big sized shoes anymore. I remember at one point I bought 3 pairs of shoes. I was looking to get a couple pairs of jeans and thought I would try here to see what they were…read morelike. I had heard that Ross had some good deals, like another discount and markdown department store in the area. They haven't been open too long and you could tell they were still working out some of the kinks. The store was a little bit disheveled. The men's jeans are on a rack next to the luggage section. Luggage was spilled over into the aisle blocking the way. Clothes were mixed in to different areas like someone picked up a large shirt and decided they didn't want and placed it in the small section. I believe that all of that is a result of the clientele and not the staff. When we were there they had staff going through the aisles trying to straighten, it's just hard. The store is organized into its various departments. It's not as well marked as other stores, but if you pay attention to the signs you can find what you are looking for and sizes rather easily. The dressing rooms where clean and the attendant was extremely helpful. They were a little slow in the checkout aisle. We stood there in a line for a long time while two staffers and a security guy where sorting clothes that either people decided not to buy or they found in the wrong areas. After about 10 minutes they opened up a second register. The prices were right. If the tags with the suggested retail price are correct, I bought a pair of jeans for $20.00 that normally cost $60.00. If you are looking to buy some designer clothes and are on a budget, it doesn't hurt to check them out. Also if they don't have something one day, come back later in the week, they get new shipments in all the time.
