Maybe I'm just remembering the exceptional service (not to mention the Frango Mints) of this store's "hey-day" as Fields, but the customer service in the Rockford Macy's is pretty low-class. Never enough clerks, and the ones I've run into are over-extended, unprofessional, and rude. I miss the old Marshall Field's tradition of wonderful service provided by well-trained, cheerful, and always helpful staff that had worked at the store for many years. So very sad.
