Shortly after leaving, my bank account was charged several times by a online cash app using my card and emptied my bank account. Yes I have contacted my bank and had to have a new card issued. However, the money has yet to be refunded and due to the change in debit card many wire transfers I was expecting and depending on were not able to go through. Now I have to wait until Monday to resolve my issues and the wire transfers may take months to clear up and I can not pay for my kids home or needs. Obviously there was a device placed on Register 53 and obviously when I called to alert the manager she was beyond rude and said to call customer service which of course no one answered. All she would have to do is check Register 53 for the device the records and steals the cards information. If no device was found then she could check the camera to see who was around register 53 after the store closed. But she would not do this. What kind of people do you have working as managerial staff?!! Why are you not implementing stronger security measures and at least having people to answer the phone when called?! Fix this please now! Also, only register #53 was open. They shut all others. Hmmm... User's recommendation: Don't use self check out or expect problems to be resolved at this store. At each and every supermarket if the cashier makes a mistake and over charges you not only get to keep your purchase but you get a complete refund. So is Price Chopper different from the rest of grocery stores? I think not. They just have no adult management. I bought a single bottle of beer. The cashier charged me based on a $10.99/6 pack. But the 6 pack was only $9.99 so instead of refunding me the $1.84+tax they wanted to just refund me 18 cents. Having worked in a supermarket as a cashier and as a manager in several supermarket corporate offices and I have shopped in supermarkets in many states this is not the way things are done. Not at all. But the worst was Alex who can't add/subtract or read. OMG! And one last thing did you realize at Price Chopper they charge you for getting cash back on your debit card? Except for the fact the cashier forgets to tell you beforehand. So ca anyone tell me of another market in St Albans even 15-20 miles away so I don't have to deal with children who can't read or do basic math? Please advise. Thanks! UPDATE...
