For those who continue with allergy shots, remember to check before you go for these. Staff issues happen, sometimes a doctor isn't on call for the shots--requiring cancelation of shots. They try very hard in a very busy office to keep up. Having had limited interactions with other medical staff in the office, I cannot speak to their qualifications, bedside manner, etc. But I was able to get excellent help when I crashed with infections (immune system issues I have), on a weekend. Excellent help from the staff member on call. As I noted, it IS a busy office and paperwork does sometimes slip through cracks--but from the front office to the nurses (thanks esp. to Chelsea), they run to try and cover all bases.

For several years I've taken Dupixent for a frightening skin condition. It costs $3000 per dose, and every year I've had to renew my application for free care. This time around, I was given the wrong application form at the office. I called the people in the Northampton office who work with biologics 3 times, and left messages. Never got a call back. Then I called and told the office receptionist that I needed to make a complaint. I was given the voicemail of the appropriate person, again left a message, and again no call back. I just can't get what I need from this practice.

We made an appointment and when he received the records of how hard of a case she really was he turned her away. Although I was upset with him turning away a patient who in all likelihood will not make it thru the year without help. I had hoped maybe he would know someone who is actually educated more than dealing with teenage acne and the only name he could give us is someone who retired a year ago.
