When I asked when I could have another appointment they told me 4 weeks from now, which I considered outrageous. When I let them know how I NEED this procedure done, then they gave me an appointment for the week after. Dr. Hartshorn, is amazing otherwise, he takes the time to listen, and give you options. They have snacks, coffee, and the office is super clean. The staff is super friendly. I just feel like, as someone who can barely put any weight on her foot, and then pain is so bad that I can't sleep, that this is not considered urgent and therefore it gets canceled.

The pain was excruciating, and continued to get worse over time. One of my colleagues who was seriously injured in a surfing incident a year earlier, that basically destroyed his shoulder (broken bones etc) had been treated by Dr. Tim Hartshorn, and recovered completely recommended that I go see him. I did, and I IMMEDIATELY knew I was in the right place, with the right doctor. Ultimately, I required surgery to repair my shoulder, but prior to actually scheduling surgery, I needed to finish out the work season on light duty. Dr. Hartshorn gave me direct steroid injections to the shoulder joint over the course of the next few months to get me through the rest of that season. At the end of the season, I went in for surgery in the morning, and was back home that afternoon. Almost immediately, Dr. Hartshorn had me on a physical therapy routine that got me moving my newly repaired shoulder in short order. Over the course of the next several weeks, the pain subsided, my range of motion returned as I continued physical therapy, and in less than 3 months, I was back at work with no restrictions. What you need to understand is that prior to seeing Dr. Hartshorn, I could not even hold a coffee cup in my left hand without serious pain. The act of threading a belt through my pant loops required assistance from my wife. Sleeping was nearly impossible and I was a wreck due to lack of sleep. Surgery takes time to fully heal from, and I knew that going in. It also takes commitment by you, to do the exercises, and range of motion stretches prescribed by your physical therapist or doctor. If you don't do that, you will not recover completely. I knew that going in as well. Dr. Hartshorn made sure I knew that this was not going to be easy, or fun, but it (the PT and stretchers) was absolutely necessary for fast recovery and the best possible outcome. Without question or reservation of any kind, I can absolutely say that if you are reading this because you have injured your shoulder, and are at the point where a solution other than you just "roughing it out" is necessary, and you have found Dr. Tim Hartshorn, Your are one fortunate individual. It is my belief that you will NOT find a better physician, surgeon or human being than Dr. Tim Hartshorn. Congratulations, and rest easy. You are in the right place. For those wondering why, 2+ years later I might be here writing a review for Dr. Hartshorn, it is really simple. I have since injured my other shoulder, and have been in the care of a doctor who was prescribed by workers comp out here in California. I am miserable, I require surgery and I decided to reach out to Dr. Hartshorn to see if he would be willing to look at my MRI and perhaps give me a recommendation for surgeons he personally knows and would comfortably recommend out here in Cali. Well, being the rock star that he is, as I mentioned in my first paragraph, Dr. Hartshorn called me directly himself. Not his staff, or some mouth piece like I would have expected to hear from out here, but he himself. I was actually not surprised to be honest, because that is the kind of doctor Tim Hartshorn is. Like I said Boston, consider yourselves VERY fortunate to have this guy in your wheel house. It does not get any better than him. I wish you well on your treatment and recovery, but have no doubt that you will be just fine. THANK YOU Dr. Hartshorn. THANK YOU.

I had my implants done by Dr. Volpe back in 2011. I was under 22 at the time, so I got saline…read moreimplants. Years went by and I started having severe symptoms. I saw every specialist imaginable to try to get some type of explanation for feeling like I was slowly dying at the age of 25. After months and months of research I finally came across an article about BII. At the time I had never heard of breast implant illness. In 2016 there were only 3-4 doctors in the US performing en bloc capsulectomies (procedure where your entire implant and scar tissue is completely removed.) After scheduling my appointment with one of the few specialists that preformed the procedure I needed, I decided to reach out to Dr. Volpe to see if he has had any other patience experience what I was going through... below is our email correspondence... Email I sent to Dr. Volpe's office on 8/18/2016: Hi Dr. Volpe, It will be 6 years this January since I had my implants done by Dr. Volpe. I am constantly asked about the doctor that did my implants and still to this day refer numerous friends to him. About a year ago I became very ill and have seen every type of doctor and had about every test possible done to find out what could be causing my symptoms. It wasn't until 2 months ago that I learned of breast implant illness. Once I did lots of researched about the illness I reached out to Dr. Susan Kolb in Atlanta who specializes in explant surgery. I wanted to reach out to Dr. Volpe to get his input and professional advice on the situation. Email response from Dr. Volpe on 8/18/2016 Hi Kaylee, It would be wise to come in and I would be happy to go over everything with you. Be wary of opinions that do not agree with extensively researched medical issues. Just give a call and set something up (remember no fees for all this). Hope to see you, Dr Volpe Email I sent to Dr. Volpe after my explant surgery on 2/23/2017: Dr. Volpe, On 10/3/16 I had my implants removed by Dr. Feng in Ohio. In August 2016 I reached out to you to get your advice regarding a link between my declining heath and my implants . I find it quite odd that in response to my email you advised me to "Be wary of opinions that do not agree with extensively researched medical issues". I'd like to know what extensive research you were referring to? Since I explanted 5 months ago a lot of my symptoms have subsided and the ones that remain are much better than they were before. After suffering for countless years with no answers, I will be putting all my effort into advocating for women who were not fully informed of all the heath risks that came with getting breast implants. In all the research I've done, I have yet to find any studies of the long term health risks of breast implants. That may be because there has been no research carried out long enough to prove the long term effects, but if you have information proving otherwise I'd be very interested to see it. Providing your patients with all the information, including the the percentage of women that experience the vast amount of negative effects from implants should be mandatory. If this information is denied to them before the decision is made to get implants, you're only doing a disservice to your patients. I have no complaints about the job you did on my implants, I think you are an extremely talented surgeon. However, had I known the information I know now about the risks of breast implants, I may have decided that the cons far outweighed the pros. The decision I made was based off the information I was given. Had I known differently, my health would be in a much different place right now, along with my financial state, and countless other aspects of my life. Thank you, Kaylee Silcox Below is the link to a letter I wrote to my 20 yr old self that was published by the National Center for Health Research. https://breastimplantinfo.org/kaylee-silcox-letter-20-year-old-self/ I'M HAPPY TO SHARE THAT ALL THE WOMEN THAT HAVE GONE THROUGH THE SAME SITUATION AS MYSELF, IF NOT WORSE, RALLIED BEHIND THIS CAUSE AND FINALLY GOT THE FDA TO PUT A BLACK BOX WARNING ON (ALL) IMPLANTS!

From the very first moment I walked into the office, I was greeted with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Every single member of the team made me feel at ease, supported, and valued--through every pre-op, post-op, many phone calls with questions, and today's follow-up appointments. The office itself is pristine--clean, modern, and welcoming, with a calm and positive energy that instantly puts you at ease. But what really sets this practice apart is the people. The patient care team (from the amazing nurses to the friendly faces at the front desk--who greet me by name with a big smile every time) are simply phenomenal. They are kind, compassionate, and truly invested in your well-being. And then there's Dr. Davidson. He is incredible--kind, confident, and truly gifted. His bedside manner is unmatched--he exudes warmth, professionalism, and a calm confidence that instantly builds trust. I knew I was in the best hands. This entire process was seamless, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience or better results.
