I was pushed off on a 20 year old cast tech who improperly put on a cast. I complained and she ignored me and rushed me out of the office. I was in agony. I booked an appointment with a different office and that orthopedist redid the cast and helped to diagnose the issues that caused the break. For the Boston hand and Shoulder visit I was charged over 1100 for an improper cast and a physician who cared not, that even his patient's note's title had listed the wrong arm that was broken. Due to COVID they don't allow me to stay. No worries. When I ask if there staff member an push her down stairs instead I'm told no. I know that NWH is part of PCHI the largest medical group in MA. They generally get anything tbey demand of insurance companies including more money do to their percentage of docs in MA. It makes no sense to ask a person to run around back and forth opposed to using the money squeezed from an insurance company to make the patients lives easier. Get your patient game together.

Nice, kind nurses who bring warm blankets; doctors who take the time to explain what to expect. I always have difficulties waking easily from anesthesia but no one got upset with me or rushed me. Everything was orderly and everyone seemed to know what they were doing. I don't want any more surgeries in life, but I would choose this place again if I had to.

The medical team at Newton/Wellesley hospital were also phenomenal. My recovery is going great and I'm glad I had this done. If you have a hernia, don't procrastinate. Have Dr Reinhorn do the surgery and you'll be glad you did.

She botched my liposuction procedure. When I tried to point it out to her and her staff, they tried…read moreto convince me it was my fault. They said I didn't follow post op procedures, which is not true. One arm looks great, the other awful. I cut a slit in the bottom of my arm garment, well below my elbow, where it was so tight around my lower arm muscle that my hands were going numb. They tried to tell me that was the reason my whole upper arm is messed up, even though the other arm is fine. They tried to convince me my messed up arm was actually fine and I must have body dysmorphia to think it is't. Only after I presented them with another Drs review of the work (which also confirmed it wasn't my fault) would they consider fixing it. She then did a fat transfer, but the tissue in my arm seems to be still so damaged from the liposuction (a year and a half later), that the fat transfer didn't take. I still have one liposuction wound that won't heal, a year and a half later, it still is scabbed. The other wound is deeply scarred on that arm, although the okay arm healed right away and the scars disappeared. Of course the office says I must have some kind of picking disorder. Everything, my fault. Of course when the office was selling the procedure they said they would laser any scars, which they didn't follow-through on. Now when I write them, telling them the fat procedure didn't take, for 3 weeks now I've been writing and sending photos, and I've been ghosted, no one writes me back. You may think that I must have gotten rude, but I tried to always be kind, I just wanted them to help and tell me what to expect with my healing and what was normal and what wasn't. If you ask AI what is wrong with my arm, it says, ask your Dr. Well, mine won't talk to me after a fat transfer for a liposuction procedure she botched, so what do I do? See another Dr? But Dr. Chung has $10,000 of my money, won't help me, won't talk to me and won't refund me so that I can get help from someone else. She has done both physical and deep psychological damage.

Dr. Sussman performed a Tenex procedure on my right ankle for a Haglund Deformity/bone spur just a week ago and the healing process and results have been amazing. I had minor to moderate pain for just a few days but much less than I had expected. I have been able to return to normal activities in less than a week and the pain I lived with for more than a year due to the haglund deformity is gone. All of the other doctors in Southern California told me that Tenex was not an option and that my condition required an open surgery under general anesthesia and I would have many months of pain and healing. Dr Sussman performed the procedure in less than 15 minutes under local anesthesia, numbing the ankle area only. It was well worth the flight to Boston and back home to Los Angeles. He was very pleasant and referred my son for an MRI and to another specialist for follow up just in case he needed more.
