I got a call from a representative who spent 45 minutes on the phone with me to answer all of my questions. Once I signed up to the program and downloaded the app to communicate with my physicians, I immediately got a first appointment in the same week. Upon arrival, I was greeted at the door by Dr. Goyal and in the same room I met Dr.Dhukka who were BOTH in the room with me. I listed my concerns, and they came up with a treatment plan for me. Not only did I have options for treatment, they went out of their way to find which pharmacy had the best costs for me prescription wise. A few weeks later, my routine lab work (covered by their program) came back, I asked if I could do a few other tests and found out I had another underlying ailment. We had a long talk when I came back into the office about it, and it wasn't about the diagnoses but they genuinely cared about how I felt about the diagnoses. I was then referred to a specialist by Dr.Goyal, and what I appreciate about this referral is that it wasn't just someone he knew, but he also kept my budget in mind. Also, before the referral, Dr.Goyal went out of his way to get opinions on my bloodwork by other specialists he knew. That's how we got such a quick understanding about what was going on with me. In 1.5 months, we've managed to figure out why I was feeling so fatigue. Ways I can improve it and my options with treatment. I cannot recommend this enough. It's hard to explain but think of it like a gym membership for your healthcare needs. So many basic things are included, you don't have to worry about wait time, if you need to see them, they are almost always available or you can reach out to them through the app. This is direct doctor to patient healthcare and it's the best thing in my opinion . These folks are awesome and I hope more places will follow in their footsteps!

I have been going to Dr. Kelly O'Brien for about 4 years…read more She is an amazing doctor and I highly recommend her. She begins the visit by listening and answering questions. She never hurries me or makes me feel like she doesn't want to see me. I like the fact that all tests are run in the building, so there is no running all over town for blood work, X Rays and such. Dr. O'Brien is also very positive. She accentuates the good things that I have done to improve my health. This makes me want to try even harder. She is very thorough and very knowledgeable. I am so glad that a friend recommended her to me. She no longer takes new medicare patients. Another huge plus for me is that she is always on time. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes after my appointment time. The only negative aspect is that you have to pay for parking. This makes me feel like the Group is money hunger. Medical bills are high enough, without having to pay to park.

I have also been of a patient of NP Carol Manning. She & I go back even farther. I will always remember when I overheard Dr. K on the phone sticking up for me with a specialist. I probably would have been sent home if Dr. Knafo had not insisted that something was wrong because she knew me so well. And that I was a good patient. So she sent me for some tests that same day & I had to be hospitalized for a week. I had developed an infection from a procedure I had with that specialist. I even had to have surgery because the fever would not break. I also remember one of her doctors calling my father on a Saturday to inquire on how he was feeling. We had seen Dr. G. Loya the day before. I was impressed & touched because she was so sincere about his well being. I see Dr. K or Carol Manning every year for my well woman exam & for any health issues during the year. I have not ever had any problems with the office staff. At my last visit 2 weeks ago, I had a sinus issue, my wait time was 15 minutes, the entire visit took about 40 minutes by the time I was back to my car. I don't think that was bad. I'm not crazy about the parking though. I usually have to park in a lot for $5.00.

Although I am a patient of Dr. Knafo, I've only spoken to her 3 of the minimum 9 times I had appointments. The other visits I was seen by two other female doctors. Now this isn't a big issue if you are going for smaller concerns like check ups and well woman exams but I had a continuous stomach issue that the lack of consistency in visits very negatively effected. I ran the same tests multiple times and explained the same symptoms/reactions to the doctors each visit and we ran in circles. I understand this is a family practice and not a specialist, but at some point it's up to the doctors to admit they don't know and refer me to someone else. It took a year of this before I broke down crying and begged for them to refer me. I would like to commend Dr. Knafo on what she is TRYING to do. When I did get to meet with her she was very caring and serious about my mental health. ( I have anxiety and depression ) Although, I believe this effected her judgement a little too much, I often felt like she wouldn't take my other physical health concerns seriously until I started taking medication as she strongly urged for me to start taking lexipro whenever I saw her. I've been doing well with my mental health, and would often express to her the reason behind my being so wound up and on the verge of tears in her office is because I was a 19 year old college student battling a mystery issue and running the same tests every visit. Making appointments is easy, everything else over the phone is hit or miss depending on if they feel like taking your call at that time.

My mom recently changed pcps because her old one did not take the time to hear her concerns and did not have a good bedside manner at all, and Dr. Ramirez was such a pleasant surprise! The location isn't the most convenient being that it's downtown but with garage parking and street parking, it's not all that bad. My mom had an 8:30 appointment and when we arrived, we waited about 15 minutes filling out new patient paperwork etc. They have a decent sized lobby with a tv and magazines to look over while waiting. Once they took us back, the med assistant was a doll. She was very courteous and patient with my mom. My mom uses a walker and they did not rush her at all, they let her go at her own pace. Once we were taken into the exam room, a med student went in and asked us a few questions. He was really nice and asked my mom thorough questions. When Dr. Ramirez came in, she was cheerful and listened to all of my mom's concerns. Due to type of insurance my mom has, there was a big confusion as to which provider she can see and Dr. Ramirez was so sweet and apologized for the mess that we've been dealing with. Although it was no fault of her own, thanks to the so called insurance companies, she pointed us in the right direction so that hopefully we can get everything situated regarding my mother's care. She has an excellent bedside manner! The whole visit took about an hour and a half (including time taken for blood work) and the doctor took her time with my mom and again, was so patient with us. I believe there are 3 other doctors in the practice and if your doctor is not available, they told us that you can also see the nurse practitioner. The whole visit went really well, we were both pleasantly surprised. And! They called me 4 days after her appointment to go over blood work results for my mom. The nurse that called me was very informative and went over each result with me point by point (something that none of her doctors have EVER done) and made sure to clarify any questions that I had. That was awesome. I really do hope that my mom can continue to see Dr. Ramirez. Everything went well for the initial visit. The practice surprised us in the best way, I just hope my mom found her new doctor. 4 stars!
