Although I am a patient of Dr. Knafo, I've only spoken to her 3 of the minimum 9 times I had appointments. The other visits I was seen by two other female doctors. Now this isn't a big issue if you are going for smaller concerns like check ups and well woman exams but I had a continuous stomach issue that the lack of consistency in visits very negatively effected. I ran the same tests multiple times and explained the same symptoms/reactions to the doctors each visit and we ran in circles. I understand this is a family practice and not a specialist, but at some point it's up to the doctors to admit they don't know and refer me to someone else. It took a year of this before I broke down crying and begged for them to refer me. I would like to commend Dr. Knafo on what she is TRYING to do. When I did get to meet with her she was very caring and serious about my mental health. ( I have anxiety and depression ) Although, I believe this effected her judgement a little too much, I often felt like she wouldn't take my other physical health concerns seriously until I started taking medication as she strongly urged for me to start taking lexipro whenever I saw her. I've been doing well with my mental health, and would often express to her the reason behind my being so wound up and on the verge of tears in her office is because I was a 19 year old college student battling a mystery issue and running the same tests every visit. Making appointments is easy, everything else over the phone is hit or miss depending on if they feel like taking your call at that time.

I chalked it up as luck and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. The office is located right off of 610, just west of the Bennigan's and Ford dealership (right around Fannin I think?), in one of those huge office buildings. I didn't wait long at all, and Dr. Odetunde ended up being one of the nicest doctors I've ever met. She immediately figured out my problem (spasms) and sent me off with a couple of prescriptions and an x-ray order. After this visit, I saw her again for some sleeping problems and some injuries I got in a car accident. She remembers her patients and is very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see the doctor and had to go to Urgent Care. I had actually wanted to make Dr. Albritton my PCP from a while back, due to the positive reviews of the doctor herself. I was in the process of officially making her my PCP with my insurance when this happened. How incompetent can this staff be? No matter how superb of a provider Dr. Tiffany Albritton is, she is destroyed by the sheer nonexistence of her staff. If they do exist, they should be replaced with staff members who actually pick up the phone during business hours. If they don't exist at a certain point, fine. But for them to be absent for the whole duration of the period I incessantly called? I don't understand why any doctor would want to surround herself by staff that do nothing but bring her and her image down and create an aura of frustration and disappointment among her patients.

My mom recently changed pcps because her old one did not take the time to hear her concerns and did not have a good bedside manner at all, and Dr. Ramirez was such a pleasant surprise! The location isn't the most convenient being that it's downtown but with garage parking and street parking, it's not all that bad. My mom had an 8:30 appointment and when we arrived, we waited about 15 minutes filling out new patient paperwork etc. They have a decent sized lobby with a tv and magazines to look over while waiting. Once they took us back, the med assistant was a doll. She was very courteous and patient with my mom. My mom uses a walker and they did not rush her at all, they let her go at her own pace. Once we were taken into the exam room, a med student went in and asked us a few questions. He was really nice and asked my mom thorough questions. When Dr. Ramirez came in, she was cheerful and listened to all of my mom's concerns. Due to type of insurance my mom has, there was a big confusion as to which provider she can see and Dr. Ramirez was so sweet and apologized for the mess that we've been dealing with. Although it was no fault of her own, thanks to the so called insurance companies, she pointed us in the right direction so that hopefully we can get everything situated regarding my mother's care. She has an excellent bedside manner! The whole visit took about an hour and a half (including time taken for blood work) and the doctor took her time with my mom and again, was so patient with us. I believe there are 3 other doctors in the practice and if your doctor is not available, they told us that you can also see the nurse practitioner. The whole visit went really well, we were both pleasantly surprised. And! They called me 4 days after her appointment to go over blood work results for my mom. The nurse that called me was very informative and went over each result with me point by point (something that none of her doctors have EVER done) and made sure to clarify any questions that I had. That was awesome. I really do hope that my mom can continue to see Dr. Ramirez. Everything went well for the initial visit. The practice surprised us in the best way, I just hope my mom found her new doctor. 4 stars!
