I hate the Med Center because it is like a zoo over there--we were 30 min. late to our appointment. I felt terrible, but they did not make me feel bad about it at all. I wasn't even punished for my tardiness--only waited 10 min. for my appointment. Now, this is not to say that it's okay to be late, but I appreciated their courtesy very much. Dr. Dejesus did the bulk of the exam, and then she returned with Dr. Hutton after going over my records and MRI films. Dr. Hutton and his staff are all very friendly and helpful. This is all based on my initial visit. I have yet to be treated by him, so I guess there'll be an update after I've been his patient longer. But first impression is solid.

I had just googled her as didn't have a recommendation when my general physician diagnosed me. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Salvato and Carol Thompson. I feel soooo much better now than 8 years ago when I could barely drag myself out of bed in the morning and hurt so bad. Since the beginning she has watched my bloodwork very closely and made some great suggestions to my care. I am now taking the Myer's Cocktail along with my glutathione infusion and I am like a new person!!! Dr. S goes to conferences to learn more about this unknown disease and comes back to share with her patients. I visit with other patients and never have I heard anything negative. Years ago the waiting was long but now they have things under control and can't say anything negative about the wait time once checked in. I have no problem getting an appointment. In general, all of the doctors said that this problem could not be permanently fixed, but they could help me manage my pain. I will never know if I was responsible for not getting the care I needed because I chose doctors with the wrong medical specialties, nevertheless less I decided to take a different approach. I called Dr Mark Prasarn an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. After Speaking with Dr. Prasarn, I left his office feeling inspired. Nothing was fixed yet, but I was filled with hope. Dr. Prasarn said the cause of my back pain was Spondilolithesis. He also said that it wasn't as bad as some others that he has seen in the past and that the surgery could fix my problem. I really appreciate the fact that he spent a considerable amount of time with me that day. Dr. Prasarn has a very methodical approach regarding care. He first recommended that I try physical therapy, if there was little to no change in my pain level we would then move on to pain management. If the pain level persists, we would try surgery. It is good game plan for him to start with the least invasive strategies until he could provide a decision that matched my personal needs. I did eventually have surgery. After just two weeks from the day of my surgery the pain was completely gone. I waited four months to write this review because I wanted to see if there would be any recurring issues concerning my back pain. I am happy to report that I feel great!! I have not experienced any pain (nothing!). For me this surgery has been life changing. I can't tell you all the special accommodations that were made for me just to take a walk. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Prasarn a very good doctor and really a very nice person. He has the credentials and it is very obvious that he has a strong desire for helping people. For me, he was just the right person at the right time. I highly recommend Dr. Prasarn if you are experiencing any back pain that requires professional help

The doctor who ordered the MRI told me she felt like I needed to see a surgeon at this point because it's been 15 years of pain, and my problems are getting worse every year. I have tried everything. Literally everything to help my pain. I have spent so much money in pain management. All they did for me today was give me pain pills which I didn't want at all bc I can't even take them at work. I want it fixed. Not a bandaid. He said my extreme pain was "Headaches." Really? I know my own body and this isn't a headache or even a migraine. I wasted $100 and time off my job to be pushed off to another doctor. Yet again. I have been doing this dance from spinal to neuro, to spinal to neuro. I felt 0 sympathy or validation, like I was just another $. The only people who were nice to me were his PA, and the assistants. They were kind and actually listened. They validated my concerns. He referred me to neurology. When I asked him what they could do, he shrugged and said "I don't know, I'm not a neurologist." Don't waste your time or money.

Dr. Daniel has shown himself to be an attentive, intelligent, and a concerned doctor. David and I appreciated him as a doctor, because he was very concerned about me, as a patient needing medical attention. I was able to get through the necessary xrays, scans, and procedures to get me a medical diagnosis, as soon as possible. I have been having…read moresome health issues for over a year now feeling super run down, severely fatigued, wanting to sleep all the time and a lack of desire to do anything at all, albeit work, hanging out with friends and/or going out in general. Not having a PCP and having access to a full array of physicians in the medical center, I searched for a physician who accepted my Aetna insurance and who was even in my building and found Dr. Dryden. I have to boast that this was THE BEST choice I have made regarding my general healthcare. Dr. Dryden is SO extremely personable, attentive, caring, compassionate and definitely listened to everything I had to say. She is just so down to earth and not one of those condescending physicians you find from time to time; it was like talking to a long time friend. She gave me her opinion of what was possibly causing my issues, what the options were if she was right, and sent me to get a whole plethora of lab work to check ALL of my vitamin levels, iron, etc... My lab work came back rather quickly, considering the Vit C was going to take the longest. In the end, it turns out I was almost completely out of iron and Vit D, and she let me know she was going to have me take a super high dose of Vit D weekly and about 750mg iron total a day. I inquired about an iron transfusion, and she said that is an option if the pills don't help enough. My own physician who I consult for asked who I ended up seeing; when I told him, he says, "You did great on that choice; Natalie is the best!" Was he ever right because I will go to her for all of my basic healthcare needs. Thanks to my new prescriptions, my back doesn't hurt anymore (which I found was caused by depleted levels of Vit D), and I am having a little more energy now. Do you want a great physician who is going to listen to you and not talk all over you? Call Dr. Dryden's office!

Five days ago, my daughter was taken to our nearest ER after hurting her arm at the park. The…read morediagnosis was a buckle fracture, and her arm was placed in a sling. We were referred to a well known children's organization to follow up in 2 days. The soonest orthopedic appointment available was 7 days later. Even though her injury was "stable", I didn't want to wait that long. My neighbor is a nurse who used to take care of Dr. Rechter's patients for years. She referred me to his office, and they were able to accommodate us the next day at the Katy location. The experience was extremely positive, from check in to check out. Dr. Rechter's bedside manner is professional, yet endearing. He confirmed the type of fracture and recommended continuing the sling for 2 weeks to allow the humerus to heal. We will then repeat the x-ray, and he will show her exercises to do and avoid to prevent reinjury. He asked about her pain, and it was well controlled with Tylenol and Ibuprofen. As patients, we see a limited side of our providers, yet we place our complete trust in their hands. My neighbor adds that not only do his patients love him, but he has the respect of his colleagues too. Her words, "Dr. Rechter is impeccable and the most genuine doctor" she's ever known. She commends his positive demeanor and expertise. Health care professionals have the best insight into physicians. I'm in no way criticizing the network where I was referred, but if my daughter did need surgery, I would wait weeks to see Dr. Rechter if I had to. We were scheduled for surgery as soon as possible, hoping he would get some playing time in his Jr year. Although that wasn't to be, Dr. Rechter was with us every step of the way. He performed the surgery beautifully and got him ready to return to the ballfield for summer ball and Varsity in his senior year. I would highly recommend him and the staff as your first choice.
