I recently visited this store because the Wawa next door was too busy. This is not how you run a Sheetz SO close to competition. Located next to the airport, this Sheetz is consistently put-upon. Its employees are unhappy, disengaged, and appear to have been trained to expect that customers might attack them without warning. The last time I ordered food there was a cold sub. Asked for toasted bread, got stale bread instead. The turkey was "off" and what it lacked in meat they made up for in sloppy globs of mayo. It was like the store was angry at me. If I don't need gas to return my rental, I'll go to Dunkin up the road or the McDonald's that just moved in nearby. I'll continue to use Wawa read more

Easy and convenient and best of all for me, right near the airport. Easy enough to get off at the last exit before the bridge to the airport, top of the rental car and circle back over the bridge and there you are at the rental car return. Haven't been inside a Sheetz in a while, so when I went into this one, I was pleasantly surprised! Like WaWa, simple food ordering experience with touchscreen, I got a grilled chicken sandwich, which came out hot and loaded with toppings. They also have a milkshake machine. And they had an ice cream bar - 2.99 for a cup of ice cream with unlimited self serve toppings, like m&ms, sprinkles, Reese's, and gummy bears! Load it up!!! Well done Sheetz :) read more

Everytime we go in there we wind up calling corporate on these people. Talked to manager Nate, was blown the proverbial smoke up the behind routine and told we were going to receive a $25 gift certificate to the store. We live in Steelton, Middletown is less than 10 minutes away this was over 15 days ago and as of yet we have not gotten the gift certificate. No need to call corporate on these people anymore it starts at the top. Don't waste your time going through here I'm sure their employees are nice enough, but if you go down the street there's a Turkey Hill there's a 7-Eleven and so many other businesses that are more customer friendly. Today's young people have forgotten that a man or woman's word is their bond. I love this place. Typical college feel, open 24/7 with made-to-order food. You order from a touch screen and don't need to talk to someone who will inevitably mess up your order. I came to hang out at my cousin's dorm for a weekend, must have made at least 3 Sheetz runs at 1-4am hours. The subs have one slice of meat, but for some reason it's still pretty good. The 12inch sub is really two 6inch subs, wrapped separately, so you can get 2 different subs instead one large one. So much fried foods available. Churros are so good here, but don't get the white chocolate dipping sauce, it has a questionable color and consistency. read more

If I can give 0 stars, I would. I waited over 45 minutes for a sandwich that should 5 minutes to put together. After I got my food someone else waiting in line asked the manager for some compensation because he had been there for over an hour. Love that I can place my order on the app on my smartphone & go through the drive-thru & food is always ready. They have a yogurt/ice cream station with all the toppings at the popular yogurt eateries. They have nearly 20 slushy flavors. A car wash & gas prices rival with turkey hill a few blocks away as lowest in area. You get an extra .03 off per gallon with your card. Selections are many. There's a really nice sitting area with a TV & free wi-fi. Compared to fast food & many restaurants their French fries are among the best around. read more

This Sheetz was very clean and had an incredible variety of food and drink! It also had a drive through which we thought was awesome!

The Sheetz that just recently opened in Middletown gives some of the worst service I have ever received. I went to this Sheetz about a month after it opened and went thru the drive thru, bad idea. If you think going thru the drive thru is going to be faster then going into the store, you are badly mistaken. I have never spent some much time at a drive up window as I spent at this Sheetz. I placed an order and pulled up to the drive thru window to pay and pick up my meal, waited about 3 or 4 minutes for someone to come to the window to take my money and tell me it would be a few minutes for my food, ok I waited about 5 minutes and a girl walked up to the window and handed me a bag and said have a nice night and she walked away, I checked in side the bag to see a nice big cup of french fries. The only problem was I didn't order french fries, so I waited another 5 minutes and a woman came to the window and ask if she could help me and I said I didn't order fries. She took the bag and came back about 5 minutes later and handed me a bag and said sorry for the mix up and smiled and left the window. Needless to say I checked the bag and their was only a 6 inch sub in the bag and I had ordered to 12 inch subs and this wasn't my order, so again I waited for someone to come back again and I explained to this person that this wasn't my order, again they took the bag and came back about 5 minutes later at which time there was 4, 6 inch subs in my bag. I left the window and drove home only to find out that the subs were not what I had ordered. I drove back to the store and went into the store and explained to the cashier what had happened and she went and got somebody who was supposedly in charge and he asked what my problem was and I told him to just give me my money back and he wanted to know if he could make my subs again. I said no just give me back my money. When you think about this whole situation how many other orders got screwed up also, like where did my original order end. It seems that I have been contacting Sheetz on many occasions about orders that I have placed at other Sheetz stores and have ask them to not send me any free coupons but to fix these problems, and they send more coupons and I end up throwing the coupons away. I think I have finally learned my lesson and I will give Turkey Hill Cafe's my business because I have never had a problem with anything I have ordered from Turkey Hill. read more
