The locals stop in here on a daily basis and get whatever they need to start their day: coffee, snacks, gas, etc. The place is packed in the morning and steady the rest of the day. It's that local place everyone goes to feel like they are part of the community. Do you need anymore indication then the placard outside- Sunoco's "Congrats Rollers State Champs" vs. Citgo's "Daisy Cakes for you" Gas prices are on the cheap side, and are sometimes the same as the Citgo across the street or 1-2 cents more. The two are always trying to keep up with each other. I stray from getting gas here because it is on the other side of the street, the line is usually longer, and they are a bit more then Citgo, but still generally cheaper than anyone else in the area. I should go here though because Citgo supports Venenzualan Oil which I don't like. All in all, if you want to feel like a local, Sunoco is the place to be!

Quite a mess to look at but it was tasty. A hoagie/sub/grinder with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, cheese and whatever else you opt to add to it. I think if I try another I'll pass on the gravy (or make sure I have a lobster bib). Fries were OK, but nothing special. I'll opt for a bag of potato chips next time.

I am giving a 3 star review because multiple gas pumps are closed, and have been off line for a while. I pulled up to not 1, but multiple closed gas pumps. Located next to the airport, this Sheetz is consistently put-upon. Its employees are unhappy, disengaged, and appear to have been trained to expect that customers might attack them without warning. The last time I ordered food there was a cold sub. Asked for toasted bread, got stale bread instead. The turkey was "off" and what it lacked in meat they made up for in sloppy globs of mayo. It was like the store was angry at me. If I don't need gas to return my rental, I'll go to Dunkin up the road or the McDonald's that just moved in nearby. I'll continue to use Wawa

There always seems to be a game between these two with Citgo usually lowering their price first on gas and Sunoco debating whether to match their price or go a couple cents above. Sunoco has the local backing due for various reasons even though Citgo is usually a cent or two cheaper. Overall the two, Citgo and Sunoco, at this intersection are generally one of the lowest places for gas in the area. If you listen to the Pump Patrol on 99.3 they usually are at the lowest price mentioned there or maybe 1-2 cents more. The mart/market is nothing great, the standard drinks, snacks, coffees and essentials. The service is friendly but I wouldn't say the local population has any connection to this place since they are new and other reasons I won't get into.

While the parking lot is a typical example of Sheetz' infatuation with sadistic BF Skinner fantasies, this location is generally run well. The staff is friendly and makes eye contact. They respond to lines building up at the checkout. The kitchen is usually moving quickly and the orders are kicked out promptly. The store is generally clean, including the bathrooms which - while not pristine - are rarely nightmare levels of filth you'd see along the highway. It's easy to frind grab-and-go items and there are a lot of pre-wrapped food items to choose from if you just need to gas up and go. This location will get you through the queue quickly. The Beer Cave is often crowded and cramped with product that can't be stocked from the palate, making it hard to get to stock in the back. My main issue with Sheetz is more about the brand. What used to be a go-to spot for decent food has become more of an expensive roller-grill with the kind of subs that you can get wrapped out of a gas station cooler. As Wawa shows up in Central PA, there is a clear difference in quality for about the same price on similar items. When flying in or out of Harrisburg, I'll order lunch from Wawa even if the price of gas is much higher there, just so I don't have to settle for airport fare. But on Lindle Road, I know I'll get quality service so I don't have to make an extra food stop in the neighborhood if I need to keep moving. While Sheetz is obsessive about its branding, that WOW feeling is no longer matched by the kind of radical culinary offerings and quality that made it more than "gas station cuisine" and as someone who discovered this place long ago at IUP during an overnight pub crawl in the late 90s, it's come a long way but in the wrong direction.
