Sheetz has quite the following. Locations can be found all across Pennsylvania. We stopped at this one late one evening when we were in need of some food. Ordering is an easy process - you just use a little kiosk. Then you take your receipt to the cashier and pay. And then you wait. The menu is plentiful and you can make all kinds of customizations. And the prices are reasonable. It was super busy when we were here, so we did have to wait awhile. But it was worth it. It was really tasty food. read more

I have kept my initial review but put it after this edit. I was falsely accused of theft at a place my family and friends enjoyed going to. We would get gas, food and drinks. Yet, after this place reported me to the police for theft that all changed. I have never once committed a crime. In fact I am usually the person who turns in people who steal. Even when my kids were young and they would take something I would take them back to return the item and apologize. Their lies have caused me severe anxiety and stress regardless of knowing I am innocent. My husband has stopped giving this place any money. We now will drive up to half an hour to get what we normally get at this place at another place. I have also had my friends who know my character also have ceased spending money at this place. Liars work here. Run away as fast as possible. "I have been living in PA for just a little over 3 yrs. I have absolutely no criminal record and have never stolen a thing in my whole life. I hate people who steal. Yet, this store has accused me of stealing a drink from them. They have never once approached me. I will do everything to prove I have never stolen a thing. I will then sue in court for lying about me committing a crime. This won't be swept under the rug. I promise I will prove my innocence and hold accountable those who have lied about me. They are the slowest Sheetz I have ever been in and this is the 2nd time I have had a bagel that I couldn't even chew and threw it out! Happened before but gave them another chance...this would explain the low star ratings read more

1. I ordered two hot dogs with regular ketchup and light mustard when I opened them up they're literally drowning and mustard the Mustard's everywhere all over the paper over the hot dog it's disgusting is it really that hard to follow the directions why even ask just purely laziness . 2. I think they need to hire a housekeeper or janitorial service because the place is always dirty the floor always has spill stuff all over it just debris on the floor or the bathroom is the women's at least is disgusting the big stall when you close the door there's a smear of brown stuff down the door near the lock that's been there for at least a month I'm pretty sure it's poop . read more

Let me start off by saying this. I have never overheard a conversation quite like the one I experienced at this Sheetz. The group of young men and ladies I was sitting near were clearly enjoying their night, and it reminded me of nights with my friends at high school. It's a gas station/convenience store. They have a decent stock of soda, though I was surprised not to see faygo. I saw my sandwich come straight out of three fryer before it was made, so definitely appreciate the freshness. read more

I placed a order at 12:20am. It was delayed five times from 1:20 to 2:55am. Unacceptable and unprofessional i will never order again.

I was in Hershey for Christmas and wanted a vote to eat, but not much was open. I was staying at the hotel Hershey and I could have gotten some food there, but I decided to go to Sheetz and get food there instead. While I was at this Sheetz, I decided to get some gas before going inside. There are plenty of pumps and a variety of gas options. Once inside, I looked for some food options and ended up ordering from their computer screens. I got a Beyond Meat burger with tomatoes on top. I thought I was ordering French fries on the side, but instead got French fries on top of my burger. I ended up eating them on the side. This Sheetz has a lot of options in regards to food at the machines, which was nice. They had sandwiches, pizza, Mac and cheese and more. However, I thought they could have had better pre-prepared options. More chips, snacks and grab and go options like fruit, vegetables and sandwiches would have been good. That's a thing that Wawa really has down. Also, I was surprised to see that they didn't have regular milk or chocolate milk options. The options at the soda fountain were around 15-20, which is on the low end compared to some modern soda fountains, which have more than 100 options. I do not drink alcohol, but I did not see any at this location. I know that some Sheetz locations do have that for sale. Hershey Park does allow alcoholic beverages now, so I wouldn't be shocked if they started selling alcohol soon. After checking out, I met a guy outside the store with an 8 month old old English shepherd poodle puppy. He was very cute to see. Altogether, coming from the Philadelphia area, I prefer Wawa over Sheetz. However, Sheetz has some good food options. read more

Placed my mobile order at 1:20am in the morning. The app tells me approx. 7mins. I get to sheetz my app now says 17 mins approx. and give me a time of 1:42am. after 45 minutes of waiting and tons of people getting their food at least 10 i counted, I walked up because she was available said I had to ask for my pickup order and she had it waiting that whole time behind the counter and that she "doesn't put the orders out, because they have issues with people stealing them". So where's the sign telling me that? because my app just says to wait and this was my first time doing pickup, and I didn't know that until I went up and asked her... but I was trying to give them time and be patient seeing as how it was crowded in there at such an odd time. seems like she was lying and just not fulfilling her job, but I got my food and it was cold and soggy, and just such a waste for $45 but only thing open at the time while I was waiting for my mom to get emergency surgery. Just your average Sheetz. I've had better chedder pretzels, this one wasn't filled as much as some others. Gas was cheaper than other places. However I wouldn't recommend coming here right after Hersheypark it becomes overwhelmed. Another Thanksgiving night trip to Hershey Park and yet another trip to this Sheetz afterwards to get some kind of food so as to avoid getting hosed down in the park. While I would prefer Wawa, there is no store within a good 20-30 miles of Hershey so Sheetz it is. This year the crowd wasn't so bad. Now when I say not so bad I'm talking like a 20-25 minute wait versus a 30-40 minute wait in prior years. Maybe this was because the McD's across the parking lot didn't close for the holiday or because the Arooga's next door was packed or maybe because they had more than one person filling orders but either way it was better than in prior years. The accuracy was also better as (crazy as this sounds) everything that should have been in the bag actually was in the bag. The major downside that sucked was only having one register open. After I ordered I counted the line waiting to pay at fourteen not counting myself and each person seemingly wanted a different type of cigs or dip. In the end gas station food is only so good regardless of the wait and if you're in the Hershey area on Thanksgiving night there are only so many choices which is what keeps us coming back year after year after year after year after year after year after year. read more

Why did I wait half an hour for a latte at this location? I placed the order and they're pumping out all these food orders that came after all these people that are waiting for drinks and while that's going on the drink guy makes three milkshakes in 30 minutes for the people who put in an order ahead of me. Finally another customer asked if they could stop with the food and catch up on drinks. If you're working a shop like this, remember that hat people are stopping in because they are busy and on the road. They have places to be. Use some problem-solving skills and consider a different course of action when you have customers waiting 30 minutes plus for a beverage. Ridiculous. And read the room. Clearly people were getting upset. Where was the manager? Maybe he can hop in the kitchen to help or maybe even respond as multiple customers ask for a refund because they're tired of waiting. read more

This s a review of this particular location. I was once an employee of sheetz - in the late 90s, Sheetz helped my pay for college and took care of the cost of a 2 credit class. I've always been grateful for that. When I can, I shop at sheetz as a thank you. I will not return to this location. My car was having mechanical problems and I limped it to this location. Two, not one, but two employees came out and rudely demanded that I move it immediately. I tried to explain that the tow truck was called and that I'd have it out soon, and neither would allow me to finish my sentence. Have a little compassion. What if you had the same issue? Inside the place was a bit of a debacle. After I pushed my car to the back of their lot, and had yet another person tell me that I can't abandon my car there (I explained again hat a tow truck was on its way), they quickly rang me out for my purchase. I'm used to Sheetz being clean and organized and this most certainly was not. Loking through the other reviews, I find that I'm not the only person to see this. Really good breakfast sandwiches as last resort for food in the morning! Might be a little better then Quick Chek.

This is the second time in a row I have ordered a made to order chicken strip sandwich. The first time the chicken was not hot right when I received it and the chicken tasted freezer burned! The second time they forgot ketchup and mayo. The two main sauces I ordered. The other sauce I ordered was barely on there. I have had to fix my sandwich both times after leaving. Sheetz always has slow service, all of them. I usually order ahead because of it. I will probably never step into a sheetz again unless I have too. You dominate in Hershey PA but you are no WAWA. I can recommend it. I enjoyed not having to communicate to order my burger, excactly the way I want it. For food orders, it is computer operated. A receipt is then populated and you take this receipt with the rest of purchasing items to the cashier. It seems brilliant and my burger was presented excactly how I ordered. The burger itself was average. I did enjoy the prompt service, as I simply stumbled upon this spot on my was to purchase gas. read more

I have no complaints. I am happy to bypass all other food establishments in this area and go straight to Sheetz. I love the touch screen ordering. My food is always made the way I want it, it's hot , and served in a timely manner. The employees and polite and friendly. This Sheetz is, by far, worthy of my repeat business. read more

This is basically a review of Sheetz in general, not so much this particular location. I grew up in Wawa territory, so anyone that knows Sheetz and Wawa has compared the two, thus I needed to see for myself. Similar setup with gas station and convenient store. I was disappointed in the smoothie selection, but I couldn't resist ordering tater tots. They were pretty good, and jalapeno ranch sauce I got with it was very tasty. They have a lot more variety with food options compared to Wawa, but I can't speak to the quality. Besides this particular location being a bit slow on service, it's a solid pit stop when you're leaving Hershey Park. read more

Probably one of the worst Sheetz I've been to in terms of their food production and coffee making. The hot chocolate machine was broken/not working right on a Friday night. The Pumpkin Spice latte we got was horrible, and the pretzel we got was cold. The mozzarella sticks we got were the only good thing. It was not as busy as it could've been, but only one person was working the cash register and I saw maybe 3 people behind cooking. read more

I wouldn't recommend eating the prepared food at Sheetz unless you are starving, suffer from anosmia, or have no taste buds. Sure, the fried food is decent, but what doesn't taste good when it's been deep fried? The processed chicken meat they use literally makes me want to vomit. read more

This place is great. Me and my family came here every dinner when we were at our Hershey visit. The main food is great. The night we arrived I ordered a pretzel burger with the average burger toppings(lettuce tomato ketchup) and added bacon. The burger was very good it was very warm and it tasted spicy. I like that sense of spicy burgers. The second and last night I ordered the three chicken slider combo. Both these nights I ordered French fries. I think they should add a little more flavor to the fries. It was a long wait; longer on the second night because buses were dropping of amounts of people. But I won't take off a star for that because everyone loves it. I really try to go to Sheetz. If we are traveling in that state area I always find a Sheetz to go to that's right off the highway. Today at 12 am I got a taco salad, my lettuce tasted old and very nasty. That was the worst salad mixture I have ever had NOT WORTH THE $5.00. Not impressed whatsoever. This is your typical Sheetz except it is smaller. This location is ALWAYS busy in the summer time and takes a long time to get sandwiches/food. The bathrooms are relatively clean. If you are looking for a sub, do yourself a favor and go up the street to Hogieez. read more

I thought I was in Hershey. It was really Hummelstown. Oh well. I got my gas and a sandwich. It was new. I could have been cleaner--the Sheetz I frequent on a regular basis is top notch. I got my gas, then moved my car so as to go in and order my food. The parking lot was weird for a Sheetz. The newer ones, anyway, are usually much bigger and designed better. Plus there was a HUGE truck and trailer that made navigation practically impossible. So I go in to get my sandwich and ordered the "new" fish number. It looked good on the menu. It was a grease ball. Of course, I ate it anyway. And where were the little tables outside so I could sit and eat without having to scrunch into my car--and it was raining! My Sheetz has a little picnic area. Be consistant Sheetz. I'm glad you are closing some of the older stores, but make the news one ALL nice. I always look for Sheetz when I travel because they are generally good--this was a disappointment. read more
