I love Sheetz! It took a while to grow on me, since where I'm from, we have Wawa's. But I really do like it here. I love that you can put air in your tires for free and this one is never too busy to where you're waiting forever in a line. The lattes are pretty good and so is the food. It's made fast and hot. The staff is always really nice to talk with and very friendly. The store is also really organized. Its also in a great place so you can fill up tight before you get on the road.

The basics. Cheeseburger. Fries. Jalapeno poppers. All part of a balanced dessert.

Not every meal has to be a pageant... and when you catch a flight that arrives at RDU after midnight on a weekday, well, you aren't going to have a lot of options for a quick meal on your way home. Enter Sheetz, one of the few places where you can stop, actually sit down, and put something that qualifies as food in your belly. I was pretty much the only person at this location at 1 in the morning other than the occasional person popping in quickly grabbing a drink or some cigarettes while they refill their gas tank. I certainly was the only one asking for some hot food. While I did hear a couple grumbles from the kitchen when I put my order in, nothing about the meal was substandard compared to a normal say lunchtime Sheetz visit. My cheeseburger was OK, fries were tasty enough, and the cream cheese jalapeno poppers were really good. Yeah, it's all junk food, but what did you expect from a weary traveler? I was just happy to be eating something that wasn't crackers. You're alright by me Sheetz. You've got the Sheet I'm looking for.

You can see my Made To Order Hot Dogs are for order #673, and my order is #678

I don't ever tend to give reviews, but this is the one exception I'll give. I came here a week or two ago and ordered my usual, two hot dogs, ketchup and mustard, and a cup of fries. This doesn't seem to bode any complications, however, after driving off, I soon found my fries were missing. No bother, I get it, some people have these days. Well, it's noon today, I order the exact same thing, check my fries are there, all is well with the world. Halfway home I find my hot dogs are completely wrong, and upon further inspection, the bag that my order was used for had the wrong orders hot dogs inside of it. I highly doubt I'll be returning to this location any time soon.

When they were building this location I didn't know how it would fit, the area seemed so small. Now that it's open it works just fine. The layout coming in is a little different as you have to drive around the entire building to get to the gas pumps, which can get a little hairy when it's busy, just a heads up. The employees are always super friendly and helpful. They offer some things that others don't, like self serve soft serve ice cream with add your own toppings too. The rest of the food and drinks are pretty standard. Pick up a free Sheetz reward card at the register and start earning with every purchase in the store and at the pumps. Also get three cents off per gallon of gas when you swipe it at the pump. It really adds up quickly!

The worker that had a problem with me charging my phone while I waited on my boyfriend

Horrible place. My car charger isn't working in my car so I took my charger in to charge my phone for a minute in the dining area so that I could buy what I needed at the store as well with my phone. My boyfriend went to the bathroom and I grabbed the wrong charger so he went to the bathroom and I left my phone there and quickly walked out and back in with the right cable and was told I couldn't leave my phone charging and I politely explained what was going on and for some reason that was unacceptable. But the people outside asking me for money before I could even get to the door was no problem. Why have outlets at the tables if you don't want anyone charging their phones. She refused to give me her name and wasn't wearing a nametag. Told me good luck figuring out hef name. So Sheetz lost money and my continued business for no reason other than it must be a racial issue because I can't see any other reason for them acting like that to me but letting people the same race as them beg for money right at their doors

Certainly NOT up to Sheetz standards. How do you serve this to a customer? Who are you? Why do you work anywhere near a kitchen?

See pics for menu samples. This is not the Sheetz we all love and frequent. Zero standards.

Soft serve!

I'm surprised there hasn't been a review for this Circle K at 4835 Hope Valley Rd in Durham. This…read moreclaimed Yelp page already existed when I checked in and professional photos were already uploaded by the business owner. I saw on Google Maps that as late as June 2019, this gas station was a BP and the convenience store was a Kangaroo Express. Kangaroo Express was based in Cary. Most, if not all, Kangaroo Express stores are now Circle K stores. This Circle K has 12 pumps. Pumps 11 and 12 are diesel (green color). The others offer the standard three grades of unleaded. I filled up this past Sunday (four days ago) on premium for $3.369 per gallon. Not cheap. I used the app GetUpside to get 10 cents per gallon back. If you fill up at a bunch of different gas stations like me, then download and install GetUpside onto your phone. Use my invite code DANIEL66482 to get an extra 15 cents per gallon back. There are no gimmicks, just free savings on gas. I used pump 9 and the pump worked great as far as automatically filling my tank to full (you'd be surprised how many faulty pumps, handles, nozzles, etc. I've come across), no leakage when pulling out, and my paper receipt printing clearly. What was annoying was all the paper towel dispensers were completely out of paper towels. Also, I noticed there was a Purell hand sanitizer dispenser next to my pump (rare sight) and it was out too. This Circle K is located at the fairly big intersection of 54 and Hope Valley Rd next door to Burger King. The gas station was relatively clean and I felt safe enough in the late afternoon. While not my first gas station choice, I'd fill up here again if needed.
