I stopped in during a road trip. I was very impressed with Sheetz! This seemed like a place to be on Sunday evening. There were plenty of people getting gas (it was $2.699, considerably cheaper than at other nearby gas stations) and filling up gas containers. Gas pumps were cleaner than elsewhere. Few people were even dining outside on the patio. It's the first time I've seen Sheetz with a patio. Inside, outside, and even bathrooms were pristine. The facilities seemed to be nearly renovated. At the end of the day, there were limited prepared foods but plenty of snack options. This gas station even had huge chewy sticks for dogs! Also, a big beer cooler! I'll stop in again during my next visit to Columbus! Stop in for cheap gas and outdoor dining!

It's important to pay attention to which pump you pull up to as they do vary. Sheetz is the only place near me that carries a type of gas called unleaded 88 or ethanol 15. Some pumps have it, as maked by the blue. This tends to be safe for most modern cars and is cheaper because it has corn. Other pumps have yellow, which is flex fuel (only some cars can take that). Diesel is green like other stations. No EV charging. I did take off a star as one of the pumps is already broken, the screen was dark and the pump icons were unresponsive so kind of weird for a brand new station. Good location.

You are expected to pull in, get your gas, and get moving -- so as not to hold up the line. Prices, like Costco, are much lower that non-Costco gas stations. It's VISA or MasterCard only - no cash, no other credit cards. The station has a lot of pumps and the lines move quickly. If you're a Costco member, you can definitely save money buying Costco gas.

Bad customer service. Faulty pumps…read more I pulled up to a pump, got out, and tried to pay. The screen on the pump announced that the pump could not accept payment; pay inside. I pulled up to another pump. I entered my Alt-ID, payment, and Gas Buddy Driver ID. When I attempted to fill up, the pump started, stopped, and would not start again. After I gave up and hung up the nozzle, the screen announced that the transaction was cancelled. I tried again. This time it pumped almost 4 gallons, and again quit. It would not print the receipt. I went inside to get the receipt and to tell the clerk that pump 6 was shutting off randomly. Blank stare. I explained why it was a particular problem for me. (I use Gas Buddy and Upside to get additional discounts--and was afraid that I would lose them going to yet a third pump.) Blank stare. I asked for a manager, assuming the he would not give me a blank stare. The clerk tells me that he IS the manager. I give up. I try to reactivate my discounts and go to a third pump. It looked like I would get the discounts, and the pump seemed to operate properly. Unfortunately, once I got home and double-checked, I found that I didn't get the 11¢ per gallon Gas Buddy discount, meaning I paid $2.20 too much. I suspect that Speedway tosses around the manager to just anyone, without much training, authority, or customer service acumen. I won't be back to this Speedway. If I experience something similar at some other Speedway, I'll just stop using Speedway.
