The penny candy available (while no longer a penny) is a delightful throwback to childhood, and being able to sample a wide variety of candy is a special treat. I did not partake, but I believe they also serve ice cream from a pick-up window on the outside of the store where there is also a nice seating area. It's in a really cute part of a mainly residential town so walking around the area eating your new penny candy is a great way to explore.
