Staff have always been extremely friendly and will greet you with a smile and answer any questions you have. It will always be the store that helped me find one of my favorite local artists Flyn who have since opened their own retail space. Prices have gone up as with the times, but there are some great chotkes to be had. It is always great to walk to the back of the store to look out the window at the pier and its goings on while thinking whether the grand kids would like the plush lobster or the puffin better. I was instantly drawn to the beautiful glass fused jewelry who was made by the artisan who happened to be working the shop that day, Lori. All of the handmade jewelry here was so beautiful- fused glass, sea glass, and my favorite dichroic glass jewelry. I ended up buying a matching dichroic glass pendant and ring set for $30 total. I get complimented constantly on them. I wanted to buy so much more!! Another of my favorites in the store was Queen Bee Herbal- natural soaps, lotions, bath bombs, and things of that nature. I chose the lemon chiffon hand & body cream because it smelled so delicious. I also bought about 6 of the bath bombs because hey, those are awesome! I just found her facebook page "Queen Bee Herbal" so I could find out where to buy more hand cream! Luckily it looks like she does the farmers market in Portland! I could have spent so much money in here. Another artisan creates drawings/paintings of cats, dogs, or horses frolicking along the beach having a good time like they are human beings.
